Ooof this scene! Usagi is intelligent. She knew exactly what Seiya meant (which is why she says “thank you, Seiya” in secret when they shoot up to the sky). She had to be clueless as she was honoring Mamoru behind her, but loved that Seiya will remember her as she will remember Seiya. She fell in love with both.
As much as I loved sailor stars, this ending scene left me cold. At this point Usagi knows how Seiya feels about her, but considering Mamo was right behind her she could hardly have said anything else but the “we’ll always be friends“ line. Better to pretend not to get it in the hopes of making an awkward situation a bit less awkward.
Seiya to be fair also knew about Marmou and witnessed their tearful reunion they should just backed off or say maybe they could be friends since Usagi and him weren’t happening period
I love how they laughed when Usagi called Rei "so mean". I know she won't admit it, but the moments when she calls Rei mean are just too cute and funny to be disgusted by.
Thanks to Sailor Stars getting dubbed in English, this is why I consider Sailor Moon's Viz dub a masterpiece. I gave it a perfect 10 because it was a perfect adaptation of the original Japanese anime and it gave many people a true Sailor Moon experience. It made me happy that Zoisite and Fisheye no longer suffered an identity crisis. Many people knew that Zoisite and Fisheye weren't female to begin with. When I say a true Sailor Moon experience, you don't have to deal with the censorship hogwash and get to see how Sailor Moon was meant to be handled in the first place.

I know that’s why the 90’s anime of the Stars Arc wasn’t liked by the author but when they animate the Stars Arc in the new Crystal/Eternal Anime series(hopefully soon) we’ll definitely see Chibiusa return to help Sailor Moon against Galaxia with the Sailor Quartet. 🌙💙😁

Yeah Viz Media redub the whole 90’s anime(all 200 episodes) including the movies and specials too and they also dubbed the new anime for Sailor Moon too: Sailor Moon Crystal(Season’s 1-3) and the 2 part movies: Sailor Moon Eternal(which is Season 4 for the Crystal anime). And what was awesome was they made sure the actors who were chosen to voice the characters returned for everything they did, YIPPEE!!! And now we’re just waiting patiently for Toei to animate the last arc in the new Crystal/Eternal anime series, The Stars Arc(PLEASE LET IT BE SOON)!!!! 🙏🤗💙🌙
