My daughter went to a job interview down in Atlanta back in 08(ish), on the way home, she stopped for gas and a snack, as she left, a man grabbed her arm as she exited the convenience store... (my daughter got her concealed carry the day she turned 21! She practiced with her "Purse carry" constantly!! Her father (me) asked her to picture an incident and what she would do for each. Now back to the story...) She dropped her snacks and drink, and reached inside her bag, (which was unzipped prior to exiting her vehicle), the man released her arm b4 she even brandished the weapon!!! This is indeed a story where the good guy with the gun, (or in this case, the good girl with the gun), prevailed!!! Unharmed, un accosted, and safely returned home :-) Please, Please, Please ladies, please practice, picture, and execute if you are ever accosted!!! I got my baby home safe and sound!!! I want each and every one of YOU to get home safe and sound too!!! Thank you Ms. Golob for informing, instructing, and just making CC cool ;-) Us fathers/husbands out here very much appreciate all that you do!!! God Bless You All!!! Side note: She got the job, and years later after moving on from that job, she returned for a reunion of sorts. As they were chatting, one asked why she ALWAYS carried her purse with her anytime she left her seat, she informed them that she was a CC holder and ALWAYS carried!! That's why she never left her purse unattended. Most of the folks there were flaming lefties and anti gunners and were quite surprised that someone so close to them carried... So don't advertise, but DO CARRY!!!!!

My boyfriend used to poo-poo that I was carrying in my crossbody purse, but then he realized it was very efficient. All too often there are peak-a-boo moments with on-body carry such as raising raising your arms or it can be too uncomfortable at a restaurant. It got to the point where he stopped carrying and would instead ask me, you carrying today? Personally, I think crossbody is the only way to go. Thanks for these tips! P.S. Where can I find the bag at 4:06? I cannot seem to locate it on the site.

the MOST IMPORTANT thing whether youre talking about on body carry or off body carry is to have the gun in a holster that covers the trigger guard
