Neisha, your smile was so big during (most of) the video that I thought my TH-cam screen would burst 🤣. Y’all really look so happy. Exciting times!!! Thanks for sharing.
I smiled through the whole video. Welcome to the adventures of livestock and farming. I’ve been a subscriber to Dr. Berry’s channel for a while and glad OB Farm popped up on my TH-cam list. Best wishes for success in your new endeavor. We are located in the panhandle of Texas and raise Irish Dexter cattle along with broilers and a flock of laying hens.
I have laughed so much watching this!!!! You are definitely learning about farm life. I grew up on a farm in Indiana in the 50s & 60s. This brings back a lot of memories!!!! Love that you are sharing your experiences with us. Thank you for all the information. ❤️❤️
There is a sharp learning curve with sheep. If you can, find someone in your area that raises a small flock and ask them to mentor you. A lot can go wrong with sheep. Watch for how they act normally, then it will make it easier to spot something is wrong. Being a prey animal, they hide sickness as lone as they can. That can lead to them not getting help in time. The more you know normal behavior, the more likely you are able to spot trouble early. Good luck. They are a very special animal. Sheep cuddles are great for distressing.
For the tire. I had that happen once on a dump truck I was driving on the interstate. It was easy to know something happened when I saw the tire tread fly past my window and then back in, hitting me in the face. What a day.
Welp. You gotta know that if you're starting something tremendous, there's going to be 'stuff' thrown in your way. I have been interested in homesteading for years. I am so pumped to follow your journey! In December, 2019, I viewed, and subsequently bought, a fully reno-ed 1 1/2 story, built in 1880..log infrastructure.. choosing to move 3,000 miles to be near my kids and grandies in rural-town Ontario.. only discovering the extent of my backyard the following summer. Ever since, I've been wondering what to do with it. My background is small-town B.C. but it was my sisters, not me, who raised animals. [Coulda/shoulda.] I don't know how far I'll go, but I have been seeing the food prices rise here, affecting my five grand-littles. For now, we have wonderful grass-fed, grass-finished beef from a farm nearby that I am supporting but the 1930s through 50s mindsets and lifestyles of my grandparents and parents are vivid in my mind. I wonder what I can do here! We'll see. Following you, avidly.
Thanks for sharing your big day! Such a treat to watch before starting my day. You are so blessed with this wonderful life. I look forward to your next video💜💜.
Hey from Springfield Oregon. Just watchen videos and came across this video. Looking at the thumbnail......"that looks like "Nurse N". Happy I checked it out. Looking forward to more videos.
Watching your other videos on the proper human diet, I actually missed content of this sort - I had no idea this channel excisted until today, so glad I found my way here! 😀 Ragnar aka Dogga is one adorable floofer! I just want to hug him! Reminds me of my own floofer 🐕💚 Greetings from Sweden
It really is nice having livestock on the property. We raise dairy goats, chickens, and ducks at the moment. Both my husband and I grew up on large ranches so we hope to add beef cattle back one day. Looking to add meat goats and a mini dairy cow next year. Home grow meat is the best meat.
All of this was awesome. Yes, your dog looks very happy to have some work to do. I think I see an extra kick in his step. Ok, Dr Berry, you make me think of my grandson. You couldn’t take her word for it. You just HAD to touch it. Ha ha ha. You sure snatched that hand back quick. 😂 My word what an eventful day. Thankful you and all the critters made it home safely.
Wife gets shocked by fence. Typical husband says well that’s not supposed to happen...so there for she’s wrong. Husband touches fence because he doesn’t believe her. Gets shocked, Priceless!
It oh!!! Always check dates on tires. We pull RVs. Tires should never be older than 5 years. Make sure you cover them when parked and use a UV protection spray on them.
That would have been my first suggestion- check all tires! As to electric fences- I “tested” Grandpas once when I was maybe 6, and the memory lingers over 60 years later, never did it again! 😜
Oh Goodness... You two sound like my husband and I's adventures!..... And yesterday was the hottest day so far. ☺ Those are the sheep were wanting. 👍 Thank the Lord for his watchful safety
I can't believe we both got shocked by the electric fence!! Doh!
It happens more often than you think it would. Lol
Tickles a little bit. Lol
@@arthurjurkowitsch9785 That's a different way of describing it. Lol
😂😂
😮😫
From the looks of things those creatures will have a better life at OB farm.
Lol, why don’t our husbands believe us when we tell them something isn’t right??? Dr. Berry also getting shocked on the fence 😂🤣😂
Thanks for sharing. The animals are beautiful, especially the big, white dog. 😊
Oh. My. Goodness. What a day! Love you two. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Nice to see you here, Doc and Neisha 🥰
Neisha, your smile was so big during (most of) the video that I thought my TH-cam screen would burst 🤣. Y’all really look so happy. Exciting times!!! Thanks for sharing.
The Shania edit “lets go girls” cracked me up 😂
😆 I had to do it
Yes, that was perfect!
Oh man me too! 😂
Awww... Dogga looks so happy, like he's fulfilling his life's purpose! If only all humans would be so lucky ☺️
It's the first time I see Dr Berry nervous. He said he was nervous.
when Beckett pulled the lid of that sharpie.... lol good reflexes!

Y'all are so delightful. I've really enjoyed your adventures and advice throughout the years.
Nothing better on a farm when outdoor animals have a job to do and relish their assignment.
Love the farm videos :)
You are both very entertaining. I love how you enjoy each other. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
So! The fun begins 😬 Yeah buddy .......................... 😎👍👍
I think this is going to be my favourite channel. ♥️🇨🇦
For the tire. I had that happen once on a dump truck I was driving on the interstate. It was easy to know something happened when I saw the tire tread fly past my window and then back in, hitting me in the face. What a day.
Glad y'all made it back safe and sound!
Thanks for taking us along for the day!
These blooper moments are great. The finger shock was quite funny 😆.
Every blowout I've had in my entire life has been on a trailer tire. They're notorious!
Especially if they are re-tread snow-studs that are 20 years old!! lol
wow!! Flying sheep. That one said, “I’m not going”
So exciting! Growing pains of farming! Good luck and take care!🙏🤗🤗💜
Love that special jack for changing the tire LOL. Works!
As humid as the devils arm pit! lol🤣😂🤣

What happened to the puppy….man he grew up quick! Being zapped isn’t fun, but glad you’re aware of it and Beckett won’t get shocked.

Cute. Were you sitting on Ken's lap? Loved the three of you together.
So happy to see your sheep. Been looking to get a place with land. Someday I will be able to get sheep also.
Neisha, do you have a tutorial on how to braid your hair that way? It's so cute!
Oooh, I'd like to know too!
Yes please
I have an Australian Shepherd dog and he is trained to be a shepherd! Love to come up and see y'all!
Wife gets shocked by fence. Typical husband says well that’s not supposed to happen...so there for she’s wrong.
