Trust me on this. If you want a real parrot but have no experience with them, buy a conure. They are very sweet, have a strong parrot personality, and will be your best friend. Plus, (and this is important for new parrot owners) you can handle being bitten by one without a trip to the hospital. And, in the world of parrots, they are a bargain. My wife and I had a female Sun conure. It was like having a really clever child in the house who followed us everywhere. But any of the conures have that same, amazing personality.
That little one is cute but you need to hear my Matred sounds like a Chihuahua . Not sure what happened she did bark like a German shepherd decided to change it up I guess.

But just did a quick search 🔎 and it says that their subspecies category has now been updated and or changed. Species Overview COMMON NAME(S): Half-moon conure, half-moon conure, orange-fronted conure, orange-fronted parakeet SCIENTIFIC NAME: Eupsittula canicularis, previously Aratinga canicularis ADULT SIZE: 9.5 inches and about 75 grams LIFE EXPECTANCY: About 20 years Ok cool Masha'Allah. Cool beans. Oh now I must of put their scientific name for a subspecies my bad lol so it appears that the subspecies is called Arinae or something like that under the type of bird Psittacidae
