I think another fun challenge would be to try and use the cmy color pallette.

I really don’t have the same experience as you with the “touch dry” two weeks ago I “inked in” a charcoal drawing with cobra + water and after a day I could wipe it off easily. It took three days to dry.
Maybe it has something to do with the humidity. In the Netherlands we had so much rain recently 😅

I think you’re not painting the base of your nostrils wide enough. All your nose are slightly pinched in at the base.
