The airport part is very touching. my uncles immigrated to France because of the Tiananmen Square incident, and they will never be able to return to China. I think China is a rising superpower, because it is very stupid to be unable to return home because of ideological immigration.

I watched start to end, for me it's been 24 years that's i didn't see my home lhasa and I am turning 30 at tibetan calender, but I feel I meet my mom when your husband meet his mom and kissing and hugging and mom is crying and warm welcoming, and cousins are inviting to their home, I watched all in deep feeling, thanks for making my day dream in 3D moments, video was already finished but still my heart is remain in lhasa, really very thousand of thanks thanks thanks, now I will. Sleep with happy and I am sure I will meet my parents in my tonight dream, once again thank you so much

First of all, Tibetans returning are whose you came to stay in India temporarily in the first place meaning Tibetans who were born in Tibet and due to current circumstances in Tibet carried Chinese citizenship. They fell homesick after a while since living in a foreign land that you are accustomed to in terms of culture, weather, language, and food is hard to begin with and then add having no family near you adds to that felling. I don’t know if you have experienced it yourself but living away from friends and family even for a short time is hard enough.As for Tibetans born outside, the only incident that I have heard of a Tibetan person born and raised outside of Tibet first or second generation going back is if they married a Tibetan born in Tibet and their (Tibet born spouse) insisted on going back to Tibet and they want to join their spouse. I have heard from a Tibet born acquaintance of mine that you need to go through a whole process at the local Chinese embassy to go back to Tibet. Going back through the way they came is dangerous and I would assume only a few people do it since there is a less risky option available. Additionally, I see lot of Chinese commenting about Tibetan born outside trying to get into Tibet to take advantage of all the “economic opportunities” in Tibet which is a bit excessive because Tibetan in India most people are business owner meaning they earn well. The money may not look like a lot when converted into US dollars but considering how cheap India is its enough to live a comfortable life and also you are literally your own boss. Tibet still holds a central place (as it is the fatherland or phayul of all Tibetans) in the hearts of I would say at least most Tibetans born outside but I don’t think those living in India and Nepal are interested in settling in Tibet given the current circumstances so If they wish to migrate they would prefer going to USA, Australia, and Europe.

Hi he was born in Tibet as well … back in the 90’s was hard but people manage to Send atleast over kid to India thru frds or relatives… long story 🙏
