Nice collection. Thankfully, I don't live in the US, else I would have found a new way of spending my money! lol But we did get in the UK the Superman cartoon among many others back in the day.

Rob, I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this video. What an amazing collection! I had no idea you were into these action figures. I do have quite a few Star Trek action figures, but they're mainly just things that hang on the wall and I can't say I have any special connection to them. I kind of started accumulating them at conventions and flea markets as opposed to purposely collecting them. So, I guess we're different in that sense. These days, I'm more and more in the mindset of getting rid of stuff. But that's my mindset, and it doesn't have to apply to anyone else. I think your collection is very cool and I'm glad you enjoy it! Thanks for sharing with us!!
No worries Mike. I get it. I think there are a couple of yours that I have to catch up on myself. Between work and issues with my elderly parents it can be a challenge to do more than hit the like button on Facebook. Yeah this was an intense couple of months collecting these. And I wasn't kidding-I don't have the room. And yet I've also seen some Star Trek ones by Mego and some Planet of the apes so who knows...there may be more God help me! BUt this has been one of my most popular videos, Over 1000 views and going! That never happens to me! Thanks for watching Mike!

Excellent video Rob, I enjoy this way more than I should have 😃 I love than they added The Flash and made him look retro 👌 I don’t think I ever saw an AquaMan cartoon growing up in the UK in the 70’s maybe they thought he would be popular in England for some strange reason. Never heard of Firestorm, Nightwing, Dr. Fate, Deadman, Reverse Flash, Brainiac, Bizarro or Red Tornado either 😬 wow we were deprived over here 😮 wow you have skills making that stand 👍 thanks for showing them mate, take care👍😃👍

Sometimes after i look at all the money I spent I wish i hadn't heard of some of these characters either, lol! Those Filmation cartoons were great to grow up with. Aquaman was my favorite out of the first three shows that you mentioned. I remember watching it in the 1970s after school. I still don't understand why Aquaman gets such a bad wrap when there is more to him than just talking to fish, and Ted Knight did an awesome job voicing him.
I agree! People jut jump on the bandwagon sometimes without thinking about it just so they can be part of a popular group.

Original Mego had 2 types of gloves, the oven mitts like on Batman and hard plastic gloves on characters like Mr. Fantastic
I remember those! I was always on the verge of losing them, lol.
I heard last year that Mego got the Marvel rights, so they would be doing them again, but there hasn't been any new buzz lately. The DC ones never hit the UK at all. Terrible distribution...
That's a shame! Why wouldn't they want to sell more? I'm keeping an eye out for the Marvel ones for sure!

Curious about the warnings you've got on some of the box backs. Are those stickers or printed on the box? I just pulled all of mine down and none of them have those warnings on the back. Mine all have a square box printed on the bottom flap that covers the same info but without all of the official warning symbols. That goes for both versions of Superman, Batman and Robin (still trying to track down the Big Lots Joker).
These are stickers. I guess I could try to remove them but I'm afraid it might rip the box.
@@robsmoviecollection3715 Sorry, my question was really about if there were alternate print runs more than anything. Being on the back really doesn't affect displayability. If you do decide you want to remove them I highly recommend Goo Gone as it shouldn't harm the boxes though I would suggest practicing on something expendable first.
