@@yuvrajsingh8960 Liverpool as a team was not focused on defending for the majority of the 19-20 season. Most of our games were about overwhelming every team offensively and holding a high line. Van Dijk wasn’t overly sloppy just misused last season.

Isn’t VAR meant to be for clear and obvious mistakes by the ref? I can’t see how Pickford fully going through virgils legs isn’t clear and obvious yet a bit of fluff on manes sleeve is. VAR seriously needs an upgrade. See, in tennis, you get 3 challenges meaning you can challenge the call made by the linesmen or umpire. So just like in tennis, a captain of a particular team gets to decide to go for VAR or not but only has 3 calls. I personally don't mind the 2mm offside, but it needs to be crystal clear which they failed to show us, viewers.

I think VAR should be operated like that of tennis and cricket where the team/player have chances of using the review. Im not fluent at expressing in english but hope you understand. In tennis the payer can ask for review and also in cricket but they have chances. If they asked for review and the decision is wrong they lose their chances. That would be ideal! And players/captain would've have to be on point with thei review decisions!

I have no problem with VAR on offside calls, HOWEVER, as an American I think VAR should be like the replay review in American football. There needs to be "incontrovertible evidence" that the original call was wrong in order for the ruling on the field to be overturned. Otherwise the original call stands.

Offside should be changed to that if any part of your body is inline with a player, it's onside. It should be offside if you're like at least 1 foot in front. These MM offside stuff are a joke. It depends on the POV whether you're off or not.

The tackle pickford made was most definitely a red card yes. But the FA states that unless its a deliberate tackle, he cant get penalised for it, and tbh it didn't look deliberate. Stupid rule, but the refs have to follow it.
