@@omegaman420 That’s why appreciate @Hollywood6IX doing this reaction. For how good S.N.R.K. is, you being from the Vancouver area and not having heard of them.❤
“Long Hair, Don’t Care” is one of their earlier songs. “Indigenous Resistance” and “Skoden” are songs that talk about the treatment of Natives and the “Standing Rock Protests”
“Real Deadly” and “Damn Right” are more just showing off their pen game. All their songs have to do with their life as being a Native American/ First Nation from a Rez(Reservation)
I had no idea this form of rap existed until I watched the Hulu series "Reservation Dogs", which is a great comedy-drama series about a group of kids and their families growing up on a reservation in Oklahoma. Definitely worth checking out!
“Reservation Dogs” is a great show and a great representation of Current Native Life on Many Rez’s. Taika Waititi (Directed Thor: Ragnarok) is Māori (New Zealand Natives) Co-Created and is an Executive Producer of the show. And had a lot to do with the show being mainly Native Show, where the Writers, Directors, Producers, Actors/Actresses, Cast and Crew are N. American Indigenous.

SNRK , Skoden this reminds me of my New Zealand Maori family , we got carvers , we got weavers ,we got chiefs , we some boujee natives too but we wear greenstone and bone . Our women have chin tattoo and our men wear full face tattoo . Haaida Gwaii Natives are nearly the same as maori and we showed them how to read ancient carvings found in Haaida Gwaii that was lost to them . Historys that indigenous people must remember ourselves because its not written in books its carved into wood and skin and told in song
@@Ngatikahu-aka-panbadass that’s badass! I didn’t know that connection between the Haaida Gwaii’s and Māori. I think most indigenous peoples and Rez’s are very similar, just different customs🔥
Had to rewatch y'all's reaction! These guys are great! You should really check out more of their stuff!! These guys are great!!! Such a good reaction guys!❤️🤓
For Natives the only borders are the ones that were created, for them all of this land is America, from the north to the south, cousins on both sides of the border does not mean we not cousins.
@nicolelaroque9449 I’m not trying to steal SNRK’s shine. I’m trying to actually put a spotlight on them. I’ve paid for many different reactors to react to SNRK. Because I know they deserve to be way, way more popular.
AYE HOLD UP YALL!! LINKIN PARK JUST DROPPED THEIR NEWLY RELEASED SONG CALLED "FRIENDLY FIRE"!!!! This song and official video is from their "One More Light" 2017 sessions and I swear to you guys, you both are gonna love this one. Hope to see the reaction here soon. Yall keep it up my friends!!🙌🙌

Whats up Smoke Dog and Hollywood. Since you guys really dig SNRK, you need to check out Drezus "Warpath". He was featured on the show Yellowstone. Straight 🔥! Him and SNRK have a couple collabs as well.

Canadians call their Indigenous First Nations, and the US calls them Native Americans - we are ALL Indigenous. Our traditional territories have NOTHING to do with the current National borders as they exist. Many Tribes had territory that spanned the current borders of Canada and Mexico and vice versa. In the United States alone, there are over 500 Federally recognized Tribes, with several hundred more waiting for Federal Recognition. We are ALL Indigenous, though; we are all 'Native' to our lands, wherever they may have been. I'm not saying this out of anger, by the way. You were asking very respectful questions, and I wanted to provide you some respectful answers. Thank you for uplifting some of our Artists. This group is from the Haisla Nation of Canada; they have released six or seven albums. I would have to count to be sure. They are about uplifting our culture and the youth, restoring pride, and creating unity. They encourage our youth to connect with their culture, celebrate it, and realize that we can be successful, too. I strongly suggest the following songs from them for your listening enjoyment - you can react to them or just enjoy them: Red Future, Free, Indigenous Resistance, Long Hair Don't Care, Dead Chiefs, and Creator Made an Animal. Other groups you might enjoy are the Haluci Nation, SupaMan, Drezus, Cody Coyote, and Mob Bounce. These are ALL Indigenous Hip Hop artists except Haluci Nation - they blend club/trap music with Traditional music. It is AMAZING.
SNRK are so awesome. Hot Planet is a banger. They have really fun songs and really serious songs but every song and every video has hidden things that are iconic to Natives and usually we'll be the only one's that catch them. D's girl drinking milk is one of them. It's like Easter Eggs for Neechi's.
Lasagna is just spaghetti flavored cake 🤘🏼🤌🏼🔥 Also, Canada is in North America. Native American isnt solely from the United States. And, not all Native Americans got along with slaves. A good amount of them had slaves of their own and didn't think it was bad. And Also, not every person has African American genes. Damn y'all are extremely wrong on this video. It's insane.
Why you focusing on everything but the music? They admit, they don’t know much when it comes to Native People and Cultures. That’s why we educate, we don’t insult. Six and Smoke are giving Native Artists a platform to share SNRK’s music, with their fans and community.
We don't call ourselves Native American here in Canada. We're First Nations, or indigenous, or just Native. I've never heard a native from Canada call themself a native American.
