She is almost a different person from the on-stage Miyako. I have watched her YT videos. So talented with the skills of an engineer/guitar tech. Also the intelligence comes through very strongly. So beautiful that is I would lose track because I wasn't paying attention to the Sub.
Thanks for the subs, I appreciate your time and effort in providing them.

Thank you! Nice to hear Miyako talking about her gear. When she goes on the road, she only takes a tubescreamer, a delay, and a tuner! Yes, when you play shows in other countries, you have to rent the gear. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is not. This is an older interview, and so much has happened over the last two years.

Miyako is my No1 favorite guitarist. (Of course Midori is my favorite, too) Miyako’s guitar plays are amazing, not only solos but also riffs, backing plays. 👍🐺🤘

She really said, "People think they can't play F?"

Queen Miyako..Best guitarist/Pianist/ Artist on the planet in my opinion ❤️‍🔥❤️.. And I hope I'm just getting the translation wrong about the guy saying she was like speaking to a middle aged man !? I was wth ?.. How could you EVER mistake the Stunning Beauty of Miyako for ANY type of Man. So I'm hoping it was a compliment to her level of sophistication and expertise at her craft ? although i cant get over the choice of the "man" part ?.. strange..

In Japan, most people who talk so much about guitar settings in such detail and with such passion are older men who have lived through the rock era, so the man with the sunglasses says, "Miyako is like a middle-aged man (who is a guitar freak)".

Seemed to be a real sexist remark questioning that a female can have technical knowledge.

@@bunqmont9363 ya true that is what the man with sunglasses mean that Miyako have the knowledge of a middle aged man.

I love hearing from Miyako but this whole business of "If we didn't know you are a woman you could pass for a man (while talking to you)" "You talk like a middle-aged man (gear)" Don't you think there's a gap between the way you look (beautiful) and your playing (aggressive). I can't even begin to tell how all of that had me disgusted. Way to go Japan. Everybody just laughs but I don't think she felt very good about this.

Sadly the lookism still remains in Japan.
it’s a normal thing in Japan.
I know it's little bit weird for people from other countries
