One Christmas morning dad got me and my brother a 2 person yellow and blue Sevylor inflatable raft he bought at west marine Came with two oars and a pump and a patch kit. Had the best time taking it to ponds catching bass like crazy. Probably patched it at least 4-5 times before we trashed it.

I have an excellent 2009 Stratos 294XL with 150HO ETEC. I bought it this year with 63 hours on it. It was garage-kept. It does 63 MPH and has 109 hours on it now. It is a great riding boat, fast enough for me to fish.

14’ flats are the best boat to learn this river with - bar none! Had a 70s polarcraft with a ‘64 18hp Fastwine Evinrude. Bought from a guy I know worked with for $350 for that boat, motor, trailer, trolling motor, and hummingbird sonar. Gave half ownership to my brother for his birthday and called her the green hornet! Made about a thousand unforgettable memories in that thing, caught the hell out of the fish, and learned everything about pool 8 that young men should know (most of it we learned the hard way). Unbelievable. God bless the man who invented the sheer pin prop design!
89 winner 19 ft bassboat 150 hp xp runs great. Has Minn kota 24 volt fortrex,hotfoot and I have added small much needed fishing accessories over the years. Just put away for the winter.
My First Bassboat was an '86 Skeeter Starfire 175 with a rebuilt Yami Precision Blend 175. I bought the rig from the original owner in Belton, TX when I was stationed at Fort Hood. The original owner had a garage built for it with A/C and Heat!! He put a 26p Protester on it, took like 23 minutes to get on plane but when she aired out we got crazy speeds and horrendous chime walk. Loved that boat sooooooo much. Still have a pic of that Skeeter with my sons sitting in it in my toolbox at work.

Hey Andy get this, 15-16 years old. My brother Andy, drove me to go buy a rotted out 1981 Procraft 15 footer. Rebuilt/regelcoated/rewired/re-everything the whole boat back to showroom condition with all the new 2022 features (flowrite-livescope etc) I’m not 18, got myself a 2003 Triton tr21 with a 225 efi. Swapped the powerhead last week man. I owned a boat company doin the same thing workin on ole 2 stroke in highschool. I’m now in college going to work on jet motors in the airforce. Boats will always have my heart.

Next was a ‘96 1648 Alumacraft with a 3 cyl. tiller 50hp Johnson and Minn Kota PowerDrive V2 that I bow fished with. Then was 2020 17’ Ambush Bandit with the same motor and trolling motor. Now I bass fish out of a ‘07 Stratos 294XL with a 200hp Yamaha Vmax hpdi, Lowrance Ghost and two Hummingbird Helix 9”s.

Now have a ‘99 Jones Brothers 1910LT w/ carb’d 150 Yam SWSII, awesome rig. Handful of jon boats for freshwater and hunting sprinkled in there too.

Im 21, just bought my first bass boat about 2 weeks ago. I grew up fishing with my dad in his champion and had a jon boat, but never a bass boat. I got a 93 stratos 201 pro XL with 200gt johnson. So far its great!
First boat was a 76 17’ silver line with a 70 evinrude, I gutted and rebuilt. Got for free from a friend, used it a year. Then got a 1980 eldocraft (wannabe 300 series ranger) with a 140 Mariner tower of power, another restoration (new lids carpet and seats). Had it for 2 years, then went to a 92 482v ranger with a 175 EFI Mariner, had it 8 years, soooo many adventures with it. Eventually outgrew it and bought my current rig, an 02 195vs ranger single console and I put a 17 200 vrod on it. Gutted it, made new aluminum lids for it, padded both decks, new carpet, seats, and bobs 6”. Love this boat, it was restoration project I got from a guy that was going through a divorce, all the lids were shot and all the carpet as well. Now it’s like brand new.
I bought a 1997 Ranger 461vs with ‘96 Evinrude Intruder 150 in 2013. Aside from fuel system maintenance (Evinrude plastic carb bowls), a few rocker switches, live well pumps, and new carpet this boat has been flawless. I’d say for a 25 year old boat that isn’t too bad at all.
As a kid 1985 astroglass 15ft with 85 force. Great boat and no issues. Sold in 2000. Boatless til 2018 bought war eagle 548 with Yamaha 40 hp 4 stroke sold in 2021. Next and current boat is 2015 g3 talon 19dlx with Yamaha 150 sho.

In 1986 I bought a 1979 16'8" Champion with an inline 6 cyl Mariner. Had it until 2002. In 2015 I bought a 1998 Cobra 201D with a 1998 200hp Johnson Venom that I still own and it's still going. Both of these boats were (are) still great boats.
Bought my first boat in between 5th and 6th grade it was a 98 Bass Hound 10.2 an older 89 Johnson 8 horse. Stepped up to a 1983 Ranger 320V with an old Merc 75. Ditched that for a 1996 Johnson 88 spl, was a sweet little ride. After that I bought a 1997 Ranger Sport R70 with an Evinrude 130 and had that up until mid way through this summer. Bought myself a 2016 Ranger Z518C with a 200 Mercury Pro XS. I have a feeling I'll have this one for a good long while
Tracker 14 topper, no mods other than oar locks. 1990 Ranger 391V, Merc 200. This boat was completely destroyed by weather and time. The original owner bought it new and used it one season and let it sit until I bought it for $800 this year. 80hrs on the motor. I'm in the process of restoring this boat including buffing the entire gel coat surface top and bottom as well as inside. There were five separate transducers glued to the inside of the hull and one mounted on the transom. I have a 93 SV Garmin for the dash and a 106 SV for the bow and a garment Force trolling motor. No poles yet.
When my brother and I were both in college we bought an old discovery marine “DMI” 16.5 foot aluminum v-hill from the 90’s with a Yamaha 50 4 stoke from like 2006. We put a badass minnkota on and a garmin unit. Lake, river, bay, salt ponds, ocean or does it all. Only boat we have owned so far. He wants a center console next I want a bass boat next. Perfect
87' Ranger 350v w/Johnson GT150 all original, still have it. 14 ft Alumicraft v-bottom w/Evinrude 40hp w/homemade trailer. Sold it right before I left Michigan. Loved that little v-bottom and should've kept it for these small lakes, creeks and rivers here in the Panhandle. Got some great small water w/double digit lm bass. Gonna have somebody wet sand and buff out the glass for me. The motor runs great but the reverse keeps coming out of adjustment, to the point where there is no reverse. Smh Prolly need a new Suzuki for it. Lol!

I have a 1997 Triton TR21 with a remanufactured 2005 225hp Optimax. I just repowered with the Optimax a month ago. this Triton originally came with a 1997 150hp EFI. put on a PowrTran 24v Jack plate and added Hydraulic steering. no more cable steering and sore fore arms lol. keep up the great work. what about a show on props and how PVS on mercury props work?

1998 javelin 400 sd this will be the second complete make over on the boat hit something on the river. But has a new Suzuki 200ss on the back after blowing up the Fitch 175. Completely new carpet foam decking new Garmin electronics for the dash and up front. Just put a bobs action jack plate hoping to test this out with a new prop.

1960 15ft fiberglass shell lake half V with a Johnson 7.5hp, a 1983 14ft grumman v bottom 25hp Chrysler which surprisingly ran fantastic, I now own a 2021 Tracker 175 TXW with a 20hp merc looking to put something bigger on it maybe a Suzuki not sure a 60hp or 70hp. I love talking boats out of all of the boats I've owned I really miss the shell lake what a great boat.

Good motor but wanted to upgrade and put a 200 carbed opti on it and hated it. 2006 Stratos 294 pro xl with opti dfi. Just bought it so still learning the boat but so far no issues
i had that power mount Andy!it was made by lake systems i believe.mine lasted a good while.the kiss of death was trying to bring it up with weeds on it.

Started with a 1436 SeaArk with a 6hp Johnson, and still own it. Was given a 1984 galaxy, still own it, and I picked up a 1999 Champion 181 DC with a Johnson 150 this summer. This show pushed me over the fence thanks so much 😂😂). I drove from Michigan, to Kentucky to get the boat.

Own a 2020 Ranger 198. Only runs 52 through. 2-10’s on dash, 12”running 360, 8” running live, lithium batteries. Love it. Just can’t catch fish.

Has a little boat hiatus and then I bought a 2012 Skeeter Zx190 with a Yamaha 175 HPDI. Great boat for me so far.

Im 21, just bought my first bass boat about 2 weeks ago. I grew up fishing with my dad in his champion and had a jon boat, but never a bass boat. I got a 93 stratos 201 pro XL with 200gt johnson. So far its great!

First boat was a 76 17’ silver line with a 70 evinrude, I gutted and rebuilt. Got for free from a friend, used it a year. Then got a 1980 eldocraft (wannabe 300 series ranger) with a 140 Mariner tower of power, another restoration (new lids carpet and seats). Had it for 2 years, then went to a 92 482v ranger with a 175 EFI Mariner, had it 8 years, soooo many adventures with it. Eventually outgrew it and bought my current rig, an 02 195vs ranger single console and I put a 17 200 vrod on it. Gutted it, made new aluminum lids for it, padded both decks, new carpet, seats, and bobs 6”. Love this boat, it was restoration project I got from a guy that was going through a divorce, all the lids were shot and all the carpet as well. Now it’s like brand new.
I bought a 1997 Ranger 461vs with ‘96 Evinrude Intruder 150 in 2013. Aside from fuel system maintenance (Evinrude plastic carb bowls), a few rocker switches, live well pumps, and new carpet this boat has been flawless. I’d say for a 25 year old boat that isn’t too bad at all.
As a kid 1985 astroglass 15ft with 85 force. Great boat and no issues. Sold in 2000.

In 1986 I bought a 1979 16'8" Champion with an inline 6 cyl Mariner. Had it until 2002. In 2015 I bought a 1998 Cobra 201D with a 1998 200hp Johnson Venom that I still own and it's still going. Both of these boats were (are) still great boats.
Bought my first boat in between 5th and 6th grade it was a 98 Bass Hound 10.2 an older 89 Johnson 8 horse. Stepped up to a 1983 Ranger 320V with an old Merc 75. Ditched that for a 1996 Johnson 88 spl, was a sweet little ride. After that I bought a 1997 Ranger Sport R70 with an Evinrude 130 and had that up until mid way through this summer. Bought myself a 2016 Ranger Z518C with a 200 Mercury Pro XS. I have a feeling I'll have this one for a good long while

This boat was completely destroyed by weather and time. The original owner bought it new and used it one season and let it sit until I bought it for $800 this year. 80hrs on the motor.
I'm in the process of restoring this boat including buffing the entire gel coat surface top and bottom as well as inside. There were five separate transducers glued to the inside of the hull and one mounted on the transom.
I have a 93 SV Garmin for the dash and a 106 SV for the bow and a garment Force trolling motor. No poles yet.

When my brother and I were both in college we bought an old discovery marine “DMI” 16.5 foot aluminum v-hill from the 90’s with a Yamaha 50 4 stoke from like 2006. We put a badass minnkota on and a garmin unit. Lake, river, bay, salt ponds, ocean or does it all. Only boat we have owned so far. He wants a center console next I want a bass boat next. Perfect

87' Ranger 350v w/Johnson GT150 all original, still have it. 14 ft Alumicraft v-bottom w/Evinrude 40hp w/homemade trailer. Sold it right before I left Michigan. Loved that little v-bottom and should've kept it for these small lakes, creeks and rivers here in the Panhandle. Got some great small water w/double digit lm bass. Gonna have somebody wet sand and buff out the glass for me. The motor runs great but the reverse keeps coming out of adjustment, to the point where there is no reverse. Smh Prolly need a new Suzuki for it. Lol!

I have a 1997 Triton TR21 with a remanufactured 2005 225hp Optimax. I just repowered with the Optimax a month ago. this Triton originally came with a 1997 150hp EFI. put on a PowrTran 24v Jack plate and added Hydraulic steering. no more cable steering and sore fore arms lol. keep up the great work. what about a show on props and how PVS on mercury props work?

1998 javelin 400 sd this will be the second complete make over on the boat hit something on the river. But has a new Suzuki 200ss on the back after blowing up the Fitch 175. Completely new carpet foam decking new Garmin electronics for the dash and up front. Just put a bobs action jack plate hoping to test this out with a new prop.

I started with a 14ft Alumacraft deep v with an 9.9 Chrysler that I shared with a buddy. Then bought a 1972 JcPenny 16ft deep v with a 20hp. Next was a 12ft smokercraft for a fix and flip. Then I got a bigger 16ft Sea Nymph w/ 60hp merc that we relabeled the Sea Nympho. Then moved to FL where I got a 16ft alumacraft mod v with a 70hp Tohatsu. Got offered a steal for a 2002 Triton TR186 with a 150 EFI that got me hooked on bass boats. Then found a boat that was close enough to a dream boat, which is my current 2014 Legend Alpha 199 with a 225hp Pro XS. Absolutely love that boat and perfect on northern WI flowages.

1960 15ft fiberglass shell lake half V with a Johnson 7.5hp, a 1983 14ft grumman v bottom 25hp Chrysler which surprisingly ran fantastic, I now own a 2021 Tracker 175 TXW with a 20hp merc looking to put something bigger on it maybe a Suzuki not sure a 60hp or 70hp. I love talking boats out of all of the boats I've owned I really miss the shell lake what a great boat.
