I'm sorry for your loss. Take it slow, don't put yourself through too much trying to continue like things are fine. I mean, you gotta keep moving forward but some things are hard enough that we kinda have to pause. Whatever helps you get by best. And great video! :)

Every season premiere is awesome, I think season 3 had the best premiere but this one has a super mind bending concept and is a ton of fun.

I've seen the whole series and this is still my favorite episode of them all.
I agree with your end comments about being able to laugh at something that is normally inappropriate . The reason for that is great writing. Anyone can make an offensive joke but if it isn't crafted well than it just feels belittling . Great reaction.
I love how kazzy is happy with Beth saving the dear when all beth was tryna do is prove she can do anything and prove everyone wrong 😂

My absolute favorite part about Rick being willing to sacrifice himself for Morty is that he not only didn't hesitate, but he was 100% certain about his decision, which we know for a fact because time didn't split again.

One little thing I love on this show that most people miss: As the deer runs away and joins the Native American, they're playing a song that sounds a lot like Enigma. But actually, while the sound is that way, the words are just "Play on Player" again and again in a loop. Heheheheheh.

I think my favorite part is that the *moment* Rick realizes he's out of synch with his alternate self, the only conclusion he jumps to immediately, without hesitation, is that the other him is trying to murder them and he has to do it first. There are no possible alternatives, it HAS to be murder.

Did you notice the guy that fell off the roof is in a wheelchair at the end of the episode as they pan out from the house?
The crack in the driveway from the previous episode is still there, but the guy falling from the roof didn't exist in the last episode.

Not sure if the Red Grin Grumble reference was entirely made up. There was a comedy show from Canada called _The Red Green Show,_ starring a guy who "thinks he knows what's goin' on." (Actually, it is pretty damn funny. Episodes of it can be found on TH-cam) Red is Canada's answer to Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, only Red's weird contraptions actually work.
The testicle-headed creature is straight out of a Stephen King movie ("The Langoliers").

Dark humour is very much my style. We should be able to make jokes about virtually everything. Rick is the perfect character for this sort of humour because you expect him to say terrible things. We don’t have any expectations from him that we would for people living in a society like real people do.
This is called the "Archie Bunker" strategy, from "All in the Family". Archie was a close-minded bigot, but the show was able to examine the issues of his prejudices because everyone understood that Archie was a fool, and nobody wanted to be Archie. Cartman in South Park is another strong example. The character becomes a vessel for a form of satire; taking something awful that people just accept as normal and dialing it up to 11 so its absurdity and horrific nature become undeniable.
Of course, for every satire, there's gonna be some people who don't get it, no matter how obvious it is (Poe's law). Here, there are a bunch of dummies, mostly young dudes of the brain-dead knee-jerk libertarian persuasion who ironically consider themselves more intelligent than most (Dunning-Kruger), who think Rick is a role model.
Speaking of Rick, one thing about him that I realized recently, which may be obvious; part of the reason for his intense hatred of Jerry? Rick abandoned his family; Jerry didn't. 17-year-old Jerry had more guts and integrity than Rick ever did, and Rick can't stand that.
