So basically blizzard bringing back hota and ball lightning....they might as well remove all other ideas and skills from the trees. Myself been waiting and waiting fopr the druid zoo build buffs they keep promising...yet every season it resolves around the same builds. Accept for the quack this season . not really strong but is really fun
It’s not really much of a nerf, they got a net positive by far and it needed to happen. It’s dumb to be pigeon holed into burn when you’re cold or lightning build.
I really can't get excited about anything Blizzard announces. They never develop; just write the code and launch. Then they "fix" things after launch. Sigh. It is cheap, but not a good experience for customers. The first two weeks after launch are essentially an open beta test. Constant hot patches for the first 30 days until the game platform and design stabilizes. Double sigh. Thankfully Rob and others do the theory crafting for us. Example, they nerf the SB quarterstaff into obscurity and add a SB one-handed weapon potentially just as overpowered as the quarterstaff was. Duh. Do they really think this is fun for people? Basically this will require everyone with a SB to redo their build and equipment.
/end rant. Forget shred. Personally I have been pining for 6 months to play a storm claw build again. I tried this season but it is C tier at best. This new unique may boost the werewolf version of Stormclaw from obscurity to the S tier.
wasnt the orbiting ball thing an aspect? i played ball lightning back on the season that it was meta and it was fun, but i remember it being an aspect, whats the point of this unique then?
5:25 Kepeleke is in fact not nerfed. They change 3% to 0.5% crit dmg 6 time less. But there is no penalty 30% to dmg of core skills. So it's rebalanced and buff +30% dmg. Yes they changed Velocity to Vigorous. But basic skills are still free to cast and now with no penalty.
The seasonal theme is 10/10, the class updates are amazing, the armory is S tier, but what about endgame? Without meaningful endgame players will play season 7 for 2 weeks then get bored and go back to PoE 2. Blizzard needs to treat endgame like a priority before anything else.
I like D4 a lot but he's right that endgame suffers Strangely enough, I also don't like PoE1s mapping system because it's just random maps with some having the right reagents for unique boss encounters but that becomes tiresome eventually D4 needs a system to fight hard bosses that can drop insane gear (basically BiS GA gear), a way to make our overworld instanced with certain encounters like S2 and S3 features (like PoE mapping but overworld) and a way to craft items beyond getting a drop, tempering and masterworking

The same old shit will happen. The devs do not see understand their game. For a werenado druid, using tempest roar, mad wolf's glee and tibault's will already prevents you from having 3 aspects. Just, why, why the hell the dev's cannot imprint this amulet on Tempest Roar instead? Not considering we need to use Ring of Starless Skies come end game. This will FORCE you to remove one powerful aspect in order to accumulate this amulet.

Also, I didn't mention why I think werewolf attack speed is so important on this amulet. It's because we're giving up Bestial Rampage (which gives +80% attack speed) to use Lupine Ferocity. That's really bad because Bestial Rampage falls into the second bracket of attack speed, which is super hard to cap. These decisions make me think the devs have no idea what they're doing.

According to the S7 overview, which I still believe should’ve been hotfixed for S6, Ancestral drop rates will be increased and rolls will be Lv17-21. (not 1-21 as it is now)

Probably half of this new gear is useless for most builds just like we still have mythics that people just take apart for shards. In addition to this the class balance is not adressed and the gaps will just keep increasing. Weak attempt that wont cut it against POE2, they must probably come with a new class for S8 otherwise they wont have any players left.
I want a mythic 2h scythe for minion Necro so bad.. I think each class should get a Mythic weapon that only has the chance to drop on that class that would be cool.

It's a joke that they can only manage to make 19 items in 3 months. A single developer could make the code for 19 items in 90 days and a single graphical artist is needed cause half those items are aspects with no visuals. D4 is cooked. They can't make items to produce new builds and they can't make end game content, only quest lines with one activity.
PoE releases tons of content almost a whole makeover each season we all so the PoE 2 reveal. Diablo 4 release a few items. Add one monster with a red cloak show how our developers work hard and design everything

They made the Aspect a Unique. A bit cheeky when they should have come up with a new idea instead.
It apparently increases the damage more or something from what I got out of it. Rather than tick damage it's just raw damage if that makes sense lol.

Ancestral items will always have maxed legendary power as I've understood from PTR campfire video. I might be wrong though.

It's a joke that they can only manage to make 19 items in 3 months. A single developer could make the code for 19 items in 90 days and a single graphical artist is needed cause half those items are aspects with no visuals. D4 is cooked. They can't make items to produce new builds and they can't make end game content, only quest lines with one activity.

I wish Diablo 4 was better than Poe actually, and I’m not a Poe 1 player btw I only have less than 100 hours in it. GGG really offers a lot to their community and now with Poe 2 you get better graphics and more content! That’s the only thing that kept me playing Diablo 4 instead and now Poe did it better..

@@ewave9643 PoE and D4 have different target audiences: PoE - streamers and "nolifers", D4 - dads with 5 jobs, 7 wives and 20+ kids.
PoE 2 contains several step towards casual players but it would hardly "betray" its main focus - hardcore players.
