That would be great; interested in the histories of different people groups in Malawi, like the Ngoni when they can in from SA under Zwangendaba, and also how some groups are distinctly moslem( the Lomwe?)@@mymalawianlifeexperiences

I aggree to the idea that this house should be used as a goverment property so that atleast Malawi can benefit in any other way, since it was built using Malawians taxes, so it makes no sense that the house should remain idle in a case like this

There is no history about the house apart from that it was owned by a head of state although it was built using tax payer's money and noone could ask the dictator on ownership lest you be thrown into a fested crocodile river. I agree with you on one thing. Turn it into a public hotel or school or hospital to be enjoyed by the taxpayers of Malawi. It's a national asset.

You have good idea for that house but I don't think his relatives can welcome that idea of yours for how I know them .
We call the place Guluwe ya ana awambe. ( A place of many Wild pig) . During past time people were killing and rostering Guluwe mean even small boys ( ana) were rostering ( kuwamba) Guluwe. Guluwe ya ana awambe ( place of plenty Guluwe ).
Great video , great history. Keep it up.

A lie. This Ngulu was one of his weapons, actually it was the shield that he left there by the mountain. Then the Chewas named that place when they found Ndawambe's Ngulu as (ku phiri kwa Ngulu ya Ndawambe) It has nothing to do with Nguluwe

What history is there that can benefit Malawians? A tyranny like Kamuzu, I don't know why people portray Kamuzu as a hero yet he was a leader that killed his own people.
Look at the plundering of the public resources, that house is a white elephant in that area.
You can't have lots of big houses for one person in a country like Malawi where poverty is abject.

Kamuzu was a Chewa from Kasungu. His Chichewa diction was that of native speakers from Kasungu. His was the Chichewa dialect from there having been abroad Kamuzu never that dialectical twang. His interpreters knew that Kamuzu understood every bit of the translation that he'd rush into correcting whatever slided away from the gist of his delivery.
