In order to get 120 fps on ps5 you should have a display or monitor that supports 120 fps through hdmi 2.0 cable and port. What if I do have the 120hz option enabled in Fortnite, but it still shows I am only getting 60hz at bottom? I have a PS5 connected to the Sony x85k. All 120hz setting enabled. The PS5 tells me I am getting 120hz under display output, 120 is enabled in Fortnite, yet still only 60hz…

@@eathumans5242 The problem for me was that Fortnite displays a lower fps while in lobby. In game, it went to 120, so it was correct all along in my caseZ

This saved my weekend. I thought I had to purchase a new monitor.
So if anybody is wondering why it won’t work when you have all those settings on and the right hdmi it’s because of your monitor not have the 2.0 and if you have a vga plug on the bag of your monitor, get a vga to hdmi cord and that should work

I've tried all 3 hdmi ports, the 2.0 only gets me 60Hz SDR and 60Hz HDR.. and the other two ports only give me 60Hz SDR
