Well, every person has own opinion. My opinion is that Lufthansa it was really expensive, but they now have new fare policy, so now they are much cheaper than before. I always looking forward to fly with them and Austrian, so for me they deserve to be Europe best airline... really nice report! :)
Heathrow is such a busy place! Can't imagine what it'll be like with another runway and another terminal. Not so sure if Lufthansa is "Europe's best airline" however they are certainly up there. Would rather fly Lufthansa then say RyanAir which treats it's pilots and cabin crew like crap.
Lufthansa is one of the only airlines to offer complimentary snacks and drinks. BA now charge for food, which is over priced, so its cheaper to buy something at the airport and take it on board with you.

+HowlHD Just search for flights on websites like kayak or momondo. If a roundtrip costs around 500€ it's a good deal. But be careful some airlines like Norwegian, Eurowings or WOW Air are low cost airlines and luggage and food is not included in the basic fare! But you can simply add food and luggage to your fare on their websites.
Can u tell me what the schenken zone is? I know it has to do with international travel but I want to know more. I know this as i went to Germany on Iceland air and had passport control in Iceland and didn’t need to do anything else once I got into Frankfurt.
+DeAwesomeGamer The Schengen agreement is an agreement between many European countries allowing free travel and trade inbetween their borders. This means for you no extra passport control, no long queues and no immigration process ;) it makes travelling a lot easier and faster :D
Danke! Air Berlin ist oft etwas günstiger als Lufthansa, hat jedoch einen unserer Meinung nach schlechteren Service. Man muss daher für sich persönlich abwägen, was einem wichtiger ist. Wir persönlich fliegen etwas lieber mit Lufthansa.

Ich dachte Airlines sind dazu verpflichtet, das Kabinenlicht auszuschalten. Aus Sicherheitsgründen.
+Lukas Müller Ja eigentlich schon. Ich hatte das bisher auch nur auf 2 Flügen, dass das Licht nicht ausgeschaltet wurde.
Bin im März mit OS von EWR nach VIE geflogen, da wurde das Licht auch nicht ausgeschaltet. Seltsam.

A319 or 737 is better than those bulky A340 's or 777's because smaller aircrafts offer window experience even on a Non windows seat
I think the world best airline in Europe is Swiss airline.
