Karolina Protsenko. At fifteen years old, she is a violinist, violist, guitarist, and pianist. She is a singer, high school student, and speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian. She studies ballet, has a provisional driver's license, and is a street performer (violin, singing, and choreography). She is a human rights activist and runs fundraising campaigns for the victims of the war in Ukraine. She sings in English, Ukrainian, Russian, French, Italian, and Hindi. She is also a pet trainer and a vegetarian (she has never eaten meat in her entire life). She is also the most beautiful human being on Earth.

Well, yes she is brilliant beyond words but she says she doesn't speak Ukrainian. Her mom is from Russia and the family spoke Russian in the home. That's not to say she won't someday speak Russian. To memorize and play this intricate piece alone without benefit of written music is a testament to her memory. That and the hundreds of other songs she has recorded to memory.

It's a consequence of age. I'm almost 80 and I know exactly what you're talking about. With Karolina though, we are fortunate to have her here and now. An extraordinary talent that has already changed the perception of young and old alike when it comes to the violin and its use in classical and contemporary music. I'll watch her while I can and enjoy all that she does :-)

I did not think she understood or conveyed the essence of this stunning music of Sarasate at all, her performance was very mechanical and not nuanced at all. I think she was concentrating on playing it technically, it’s probably a bit too difficult for her as in many passages she was out of tune. But we all know how much she likes to show off! In time with maturity and more technical development I expect she will play it more effectively! She is definitely improving with each video she posts.

Notice how music just flows out of her? Even when not dancing around while playing she sways in perfect rhythm with the arrangement she's playing. A true master violinist has mastered bowing and plucking together in the same arrangement. Karolina is a true master violinist.👏👏👏👏👏

Holly $&@$!!! I’m not a music expert, but you don’t really have to be to know that’s not only master but the TOP level. It blow my mind how on Earth people can achieve such a control and such clean sounds of such a difficult instrument, on top, at such age. It has no frets for God’s love. Mind blowing! ❤
It amazes me too. I play a little guitar and I don't know how she remembers all the notes on such a long composition. I am no expert on violin but to me she is amazing. Her finger work is something to see and the feeling that comes out in her music is wonderful. She makes the violin sing.

I think it is criminal that they would interrupt this great performance by our Violin Princess for advertisements. This should be enjoyed uninterrupted. In spite of this I love Karolina’s different facets, this is her “serious” side where she doesn’t get to dance like on her relaxed street performances, yet she never looses her beautiful smile and passion for her musical deliveries. Thanks also go to the lady on the Grand Piano who assisted with the timing for our Princess’ great act.

i said a week ago that it was magnificent. I feel like saying again, after watching it almost daily. This is what i like about Karolina, classical stuff with piano or an orchestra. The streets gig is fun and if it can bring pleasure to Karolina so be it, but personnaly i'd love to see Karolina becoming the next Joshua Bell or Hillary Hahn, the head feature in a major classical concert. cheers from Montreal !!

Oh my gosh Karolina ... you're 15 now and you are so magnificent ! I've only seen you perform in person at the Santa Monica Pier when you were so small. What stopped me was seeing you carry and set up equipment... otherwise I would have missed you perform. You lift my weary spirit with your performances. I too was a street performer . Kookoo the clown was my name . I made alot of people smile , laugh and kiss each other . Now I an just a humble Handyman ( improving people's lives ) . God Bless you dear child.
