Recipe deets: open.substack.com/pub/flavorsbyale/p/the-ultimate-lasagna-recipe?r=2urrd9&
I wanna see her in Masterchef , she is so resourceful and one of the only people in youtube who actually take time to explain the recipe instead of forcing people to subscribe .❤
I never really was that much of a lasagna guy, but since I cooked one myself a few months ago it’s one of my favourite things ever! Recipe is pretty much the same as yours
I’ve been watching this young chef since the start of her social media appearance. As someone who’s worked in the kitchen all my life, it’s nice to watch videos of the newer generation getting into cooking as well as perfect it
The chug of wine 4 the Chef had me laughing... reminds me of the Keith Lyode quote "I always cook with win & sometimes I even put some in the food" 😂😂😂
I enjoy watching her cook. Professional training meets her own spin. Most families have their own resapies handed down from Grandmother to Mother. My Mom was self taught and all seven of her children are great cooks. Thanks Mom!
I wished you would edit to not cut the videos off. I love your channel!
lasagna bolognese is supreme on christmas eve when the whole family is together😩💜
LOOKS AMAZING WOAHH
I literally just made this exact thing for Thanksgiving! Turned out great! I double the batch of ragu and I made bechemel AND ricotta (w/mozz, herbs, & lemon rind). My family had never had lasagna with fresh pasta sheets before. It was a huge hit and I somehow had enough leftover parts to make a second lasagna for my freezer. Can't wait to have it on a busy weeknight this winter.
Then you"literally" didn't make this "exact" thing. She didn't use ricotta.
@@mehere337bro shut up she mad lasagna and so did they for thanksgiving stop being so literal
I almost wanna cry because this recipe is so legit 🥹 so hard to see on social media! Great job 🤗
this is one of the best shorts I have seen this year.
I like the drinking part. The cooking goes by so quickly and if it's not perfect, it doesn't matter
The metal whisk on the teflon pan got me hhhhahaa
@andrewchristie2970 are you gatekeeping comments? The metal whisk in the Teflon also bothered me. Big faux pas.
You donut that’s a Gordon Ramsey Hexclad pot, they aren’t Teflon. Pretty sure she would know as a culinary student what she’s doing
@@Dianeediegoo it partly is teflon. flat-ish utensils may not scratch the teflon part (every black part in the metal hexagon) but a whisk might.
sorry @Andrewchristie2790, she did a great job. I think I also put the comment in also. and I watched the whole vid. :) someone also said it was a hex clad pot where whisks are apparently ok since it's a hybrid. Good discussion! @@blizzardjm
I don't even like lasagna but something about your voice and passion makes everything sounds tasty
First time watcher here…I just subscribed to your Channel because you are the first one I see that puts carrots and celery in her bolognese.
Now I know I an not alone…thank you!
Looks great but next time start frying the mince to get it really caramelized. It takes some time to get rid of the water to caramelize the meat but it's so worth it in the end.
I looked up lasagna recipe thinking I would get some vids on the tampa side but this is the first thing I clicked on and you are going way too hard this is expert level stuff 😂
That was PERFECT!! you used the right ingredients and techniques, as an italian i feel proud of you❤😂
Omg this looks fucking amazing!!!! Sorry for the cursing but it looks great!!
Your voice is sooo soothing Ale 😊 But please, no metal utensils on a non-stick pan! 😅
bravo to you for making everything by hand
Wow now that is a Lasagna. A true Italian recipe. Girl you have some skills
Beautifully done! Try using a potato masher on the ground meats it a serious time (and elbow) saver.
That looks absolutely delicious ❤
a world class masterpiece!now that is how you cook!
You're my hero. Pasta from scratch ❤
New fan🤘🤘ty for talking while cooking. No kitchen is quiet, ya gotta talk
I’ll probably never do this, but it looks amazing.
Glue of white wine from the bottle while cooking…I am soooo in love ❤😂
I LOVE UR VOICE ITS SO CLAMMMMMMM❤❤❤
So true!!! From scratch! Nothing beats a homemade lasagna❤
Girl I love your videos!
What a wonderful looking gourmand... the food looks delicous, too.
You givr off the ratatouille chef vibes❤
Looks Delicious but I don't like Wine in my food especially Lasagna, but making it from scratch is hard but I bet it tastes Good 😋😋😋
Great recipe. Great song.
After finding a good Bolognese Recipe and learning how to make Bechamel myself it reaaally stepped up my Lasagna Game its amazing but it takes a wholeass Day 😅
👋I Love your recipes.❤from 🇵🇰 .
I am sure is delicious for all that hard work!
Big agree on bechamel making it the superior lasagna. I won't have it any other way.
Personally, homemade and bought lasagna sheets don’t have a large impact on lasagna flavour, but i get the appeal
Lasagne is my favourite food. Everyone calls me Garfield. Yeah it does feel like a hug I LOVE IT!
Wow she’s in there throwing it down like my Aunt Rosemary 👏
Amazing Cooking. You’re the bomb !!!!!
That pomi packaging is not recyclable, but your still amazing
I love making lasagna but personally ricotta is the way to go for me! Béchamel is just too heavy on my stomach as good as it is haha. I also like making focaccia and a side salad paired with a roasted garlic vinaigrette to go with it 🥰
When she was rolling the thing to get the pasta…badass
There is nothing better than a homemade lasagna on a rainy day 😋😋
I absolutely love a saucy piece of lasagna. Looks delicious. I agree bechamel is better.
Oh wow that looks amazing
I’ve followed Marcella Hazan’s technique for this for years, and she recommends washing the starch off the noodles after blanching. It’s an extra step but she claims it makes the noodles less gummy. I’m curious to get your thoughts on that.
This is perfection!
You Betta Work !!!! 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Agree 100% looks great
So true, love to try it
Can you use metal utensils in a nonstick pot or pan? Are those no stick? I'm genuinely asking as I'm just beginning my cooking journey
I just love it…
Finally someone else who doesnt put either of the non edible cheeses (ricotta or cottage cheese) in a lasagna. Imo ricotta makes the dish gritty
youre amazing love everything
The fancy egg drop looks cool, but dropping them in a bowl to check eggs for particles is better and sanitary.😊
Southern lasagna with actual ragù and mini meatball is on another level, expecially since you don't soften the flavor with beshamerl
Bechamel is definately the way to go👌
MY FAVORITE CHEF!!❤❤
I know this is your version but may I ask why u use white wine instead of red???
Yes, just like nonna made, love it!!
Love that sneaky baby yoda
I love the voice❤
Am i the only person who sees these videos and just picture her when she was a kid on food Network schooling people on how to say Italian words properly?
Man, when will I ever eat homemade lasagna. I’ve always had it at restaurants and I don’t know any Italian grandma or people who can cook this for me. 😢
I like cento crushed tomatoes, haven’t came across that kind you had.
From Italy i only can Say bravissima ❤️
Family, friends, sleep, money, traveling, books, anime, manga… 😂
If only I could get a live demonstration 😉
Your meals and recipes always look top tier/ 5 star Michelin looking deliciousness!!
Love this
You can cook and your Gorgeous just Wow!
crazy I am Italian and never tried doing it with white wine, I always use red wine. but I will definitely try now
Impressive I had to remind myself to breathe hahahaha
Nice Billy Joel song choice 😉
ok i might have to make this instead of prime rib this yr for christmas
Can you do a vegi version?
I always cook it its my fav food
Iconic when I see the wine sip 😎
Is this an #ad for Pomi?
I can’t find the beef pork and veal ground meat pack ANYWHERE ANYMORE!!! This is what my mommy made her meatballs and meatloaf with and it just disappeared from my life. They have it without veal obviously for good reasons but it just doesn’t taste the same. Any tips for someone who can’t get/doesn’t want the veal?
looks amazing! but i fear for her life when she calls it ragu and uses tomato!!!! the mafia already have your name hun!
I need the recipe for this whole dish!!!
You should put the onion first and wait for it to start to get golden and then put carrots and after celery. When the carrots get softer add the meat
This looks delicious but this is definitely not a week night meal 😂
Omg, im drooling
She knows how to Cook, nice
The metal whisk on non stick pot KILLS me
@@asn6970 hexclad uses PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, brand name Teflon)
i would buy ur cookbook
Recipe please 😍
Looks fire
Perfect
If you were in master chef what would you cook?
This is an ambitious recipe. And it looks delicious.
I cheat and do an easy meat sauce and then do the bechemel 😂
Not really.. u just need a few hours. By the way the original lasagne should be green.
The easy way is just jar sauce, and Italian sausage w noodles. Basically assemble and layer w sauce e n cheese. Stull waaay better than bought
