While CRISPR does wonders I read something about cells then spontaneously reverting changes as if they have some sort of other form of error correction that remembers what the genome looks like before editing. It'd be nice if we could find a way around it or better yet, using that to make sure that edit is permanent.

That is not how copyright works. The moment you make an original piece of work you own the copyright to that piece of work and can enforce it. If you do or not is a different story. With that said Queen is notorious for copyright striking peoples content. She may not of been close enough to get auto flagging or just not been seen by their people yet. She may also be covered since it was more of a cover then directly playing the song.
I cant even explain how uneducated this statement is in how many different ways. There is NOTHING morally wrong with copyright laws and EVERY artist literally ever should be encouraged to protect their intellectual property with all of their effort.

My Great Grandmother of 94 passed away from COVID-19 two years ago, Daft Punk, my all time favorite artist retired, high school was very hard as usual, I was often questioning myself on what purpose I have in life, struggling with depression, and if I was ever gonna graduate high school, I was a Junior at the time and things weren't looking to good for me. Fast forward to today, I have less than 2 MONTHS left of SENIOR year, Daft Punk announced a 10th Anniversary Album (I am now listening to them again), I am passing my classes, and I'm in a better place than what I was a year ago. I am forever grateful to have met Ironmouse.
