    Those are beautiful sculpts and you did a wonderful job with them. I am really getting tempted by these smaller scales. Thanks for sharing :)

    As usual lovely paint job mate, can’t wait to play a game against them. You have contrast paints down to a fine art

    For the size they are expertly painted , I like the way you have spread your cavalry that looks much better than having them all in rows , that's a good idea for basing the horse and limber set

    Nice models (Kallistra). Just wish they would extend the range with a couple of extras (e.g., ACW supply wagons would be a good start).

      @@welshwargamer2066 Yes, but not for me. Perhaps if it was really cheap but at £12, Warlord is far too expensive for what is not a very good model (imo) that appears to be influenced more by Hollywood than proper research (e.g., from era photographs, we can see that the Union wagons were in fact driven by an outrider on the nearest horse/mule to the wagon and not by a seated driver). Furthermore, Kallistra's prices are much better (e.g., you can buy FOUR limbers, teams & guns for the same price as ONE Warlord limber, etc.) so I reckon this would be reflected in a proper supply wagon model.

      @@DH.2016 ye that’s why I’m sticking with kalistra for the cavalry and dismounted troops, the epic starter box is cracking value but the 2nd and 3rd waves are quite expensive. If kalistra done a wagon I’d defo buy one

    I hate them, I hate them..... of course not they are a lovely job of painting, thanks for showing them off.
    You confirmed my thoughts about the artillery pieces, Kallistra are slightly smaller and this is more pronounced with the barrels, but as long as you do not mix them on the same base, it should be unnoticeable on the table in game.
    I managed to grab a few extra copies of WI and so with a few extra Kallistra miniatures have eeked out the 3 sprues to 18 stands, but when I looked at the painted minis on my painting area, I was struck at how much space they take up in line, over three feet. Given the starter set has 12 regiments a side (15 if you can afford the full monty) these 12 even if double lined are 6 feet accross, excluding artillery. I ceratinly do not have a very large dedicated space, so at best I am restricted to a 6x4 table which is looking to be wall to wall with even just the starter box.
    Wondered if anyone else had thoughts on this and possibly what rulesets they plan to use - I am angling towards Altar of Freedom (two stands) or possibly Field of Battle 3 again using two stand units

      @welshwargamer2066 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate! Yes I’ve had these thoughts about the regiment size, 5 bases per regiment is quite large when playing on a 6x4 so I plan on either using 2-3 bases per regiment to be able to have multiple brigades a side. I’m going to use black powder, the book states that frontage can be anything you want as long as both sides are fairly similar! Kalistra stuff is nice and you can just about get away witte the sizes difference

    For the time being I'm OK (not thrilled) sticking with Warlord. However, at $25 for 2 limbers (at Warlord) I'd certainly entertain Kallistras Limbers instead.

      Great name btw haha, umm ye dont get me wrong warlords ones are great but there are ups and downs for both using kalistra or warlord stuff i just wanted to see if it would look good on table and when playing you cant notice the size difference tbh

    very good paintjob for this size. The kalistra minis look great i think i will order some . I am painting 10mm pendraken at the moment. do you think they would fit with kalistra or which minis fit with kalistra ?
