art of chess, looks at white queen moving freely while black cannot take the enemy queen since it will be stalemate and ended up giving up to forced stalemate
brilliant move means a move engine doesn't calculate better than analysed 'best move' but after the move is done, engine analyse it and finds it better than the best move. There are some possibilities why there are so many brilliant moves detected by engine. 1. engine is on low depth 2. engine is high on weed 3. the current chess board position is not legal so engine is confused.
this is your best video yet. i didn’t know you guys somehow brilliantly (no pun intended) constructed your own puzzle just for the sake of maximizing brilliant moves in a row. that rook underpromotion was such a plot twist at the end. i really thought white was going for mate but i guess they never had mate to begin with how do you even go about constructing something so incredible?
a1 is always on a dark square, so that means that the bottom row is where white's initial position was, which means that the white king traveled across the board with his pawns.
@@lightman9935 Yeah, technically you're right. I mean, this position never would occur in a real game, but per the board white's side is indead the side a-1-> h1. King's start on their opposite coloured square, queens their own colour. As you said, to get this position white would basically have to walk their king to the opposite corner of the board.
yo cjx chess I have a puzzle idea if u compose some puzzles make a puzzle where blacks king is awkwardly exposed to whitesbishopwith whites knight in-between and taking blacks hanging queen would still lose because black has a decisive material advantage so we cannot take the queen but give a discovered check giving the king less options and force mate in how many u prefer
This is the first time I saw white wanting to sac the queen on every move possible with no counter attack yet black refusing to take it, which were all the correct moves wtf

I feel like this is how aliens would play chess
The queen had zero remorse for black
When it said 11 brilliant moves in a row, I thought it was 11 brilliant moves by both sides in a row. Now that would be spectacular to see.
So blacks king managed to walk across the board with all the heavy pieces still on it?
That's a brave king!! Walking right into fire
Not black, white's king.

da hell i see all those brilliant moves
Someone already went for this, but BROKE THE ENGINE BY 199 BRILLIANT MOVES IN A ROW
This queen was the ultimate harasser. Reminds me of the puzzle few days ago when the same thing happened with bishop and blacks two rooks.
2:26 Kb1 is not a mate as Nb8 is also there

I wonder if we gave Hikaru this puzzle and some time to think if he would be able to figure it out
probably but it's still ridiculously hard. give him like an hour he might do it
I really don’t know if he would
My BRAIN HURTS, THE AUDACITY, HOW MANY BRILLIANT MOVES
so if i want to do brilliant move i need to hang my queen 10x?
I like how this videos starts with an introduction before actually going to a puzzle
Can't believe the queen was able to just keep attacking not because it's protected by a piece but by stalemate lol
I got the first brilliant move without thinking much about it.

Underpromotion to a Rook to force stalemate? God
Just want to say how did blacks light squared bishop could’ve possibly gotten there
Probably from check chains, causing neither player able move the pieces up there.
WTF MEN, DIDNT EXPECT THAT COMING, 11 BRILLIANT MOVE IN A ROW, U MUST BE KIDDING ME
3:17 why do black not take the queen?
if you take the queen the game will be stalemated since white cannot move anything

black's c pawn took on b4 and the g pawn took on the h-file, the rest can easily be achieved by moving the pieces to the needed squares.
