I always faced challenges when it came to explaining how food works here where I live. So, here's what I came up with to explain how food culture is kinda like here in Malaysia. In burger-terms of course.
With a bit of a different slapstick twist inspired by one of my favorite comedians. Can you guess who?

i usually lost weight when i visit other countries but i'm not so sure if i would lose weight if i would go to malaysia some day
Malaysia is the worst country to lose weight, believe me I know. We have so many delicious foods that we can't contain ourselves to not eat it all..

What, no chili crab burger?? Just kidding -- I've just come to Singapore for business this week and all these Malaysian/Singapore vids now show up on youtube (well, mostly yours) and are hilarious.
Oh, and the food I've had here has been pretty good. Though it's pretty hard to order drinks. It would be so much EASIER if they'd just say what they are, but instead they go, "You want Coffee-O, or Coffee-C, or Teh-C, or Milo Dinosaur?"
I want to come to Malaysia just to visit you and your hilariousness. 😙

I watched the vid 'How to Know if You Are A Malaysian' and that's how I ended up subscribing to this guy. So far, 90% of what was displayed was kind of true lol. Plus I think that guy who worked as both as the cashier and the customer appeared in an ad before, talkin' about 30%-90% discount sales idk. Anyway, I like your vids m8 they have that logical humour in them.

Guys, i have been to Malaysia and food there is Awesome including the staff work there.
So I spent 6 months in Indonesia and visited Malaysia for a short time ... (traditional) foods are relatively similar from what I could tell. Does the following exist and do you mean: (a hundred variations of) ayam, nasi or mie goreng, rebus, (myriad of further ways of making it, and also names of different regions) --- and I am pretty late about commenting on this video. Very late ^^

Late but we malaysian have indians, so indian food are everywhere. Original and assimilated version of it. eg : mamak. and we have lots of different region, and some we picked up from thai people who migrated to m'sia decades ago.
we'd have sushis inside burgers and the buns would both be flat like the bottom one, we would also have rice and fish.
As an American, unfortunately our burger places arent usually that nice. depending on where you go.

lah is a slang that we Malaysians use. It's added at the end of sentences for no proper reason but it makes listening more fun. Singaporeans and Bruneians use it too.

I still wonder what Wild Monkey Burger would be like haha. I'm from California, in North America. For the record they don't ask you what kind of soda you want at fast food places here. We have soda fountains, they just ask you small, medium, or large (you can also ask for water which is free) and they just give you the cup and you go over to the soda fountain and get whatever you want. There's several options typically, sometimes over a dozen. Do they have those everywhere?

i think the easiest way to explain it to others (although I am not Malaysian myself) is that Malaysians are very specific with foods because they have literally hundreds of versions of each type coming from different mixed cultures and lots of ethnic-identity.
