Glad EE still commentates something I keep up with. I started following competitive platform fighting when Smash 4 came out. Him and TKBreezy were always among my favorites for that game.
Kragg has fucking everything it’s crazy, long range pressure with rock, broken recovery, insane damage from any opening, and can steal stocks at low percent it’s crazyyyyyyy also easy as fuck to pick up any bum can be plat with kragg
@HarrisonWeber21 well, I think "bum" is relative given that anyone who plays RoE2 is at least, interested in Melee but could never get in past the skill floor OR already good at Melee and is picking it up.
Kragg has the strongest recovery in the game, the most versatile projectile, a crazy advantage state, and is the second heaviest character to boot. I really hope we see some balancing coming for him. A heavy should not have all of this in his kit
I remain confused on kragg’s ability to teleport you off stage with up throw netting him a potential stock sub 50% and a seemingly guaranteed stock anything after. No one seems to point out the absurdity of that lol, remove his ability to move up throw off the stage
Without landing on a rock that move is not that great, this game doesn't have the same DI system as smash so you might be getting tripped up by it. You can DI the throw and get to the stage before him 9/10 times at high %, and at low % the best follow up he has on it that's true is double jump Nair iirc.
From my testing he can kill you off any DI past 50 or 60%. Testing on clairen Di out/no DI gives Fair, DI in you can B reverse down b spike or normal Pummel for b reverse neutral b down throw. The propaganda ends now. I tested this under the rock wall plat further back DI in would put you on stage obv.
