    Hi Chad & Jolene, how are you two today? This is one time I probably would have gone a different direction and stopped the running board at the back of the cab. Then I would have been able to taper the rear fender front pipes more like the front fender and it would have been easier. As you always say Chad you do you and we can do ourselves. I also am guessing you wanted a more vertical front to the rear fender. You and Jolene are both true artists each in your own way and I love watching both of you work. Chad you are doing a great job on upgrading this older project it is really looking good and when it is finished it will be a true work of art. When you get done with this project it would be great to see paint go on the Bugatti before your next project starts or resumes! I will be back tomorrow as always.

    Some times with the amount of muffler pipe you use a muffler pipe bender would be a handy tool in the shop. As far as the fenders I would have liked soft radius curves and a little tip down on the front and the back maybe matching the curves in the cab shape some . Good job anyways Chad and Jolene its another great video 📹 👍.Smiles 😃 from Huntsville Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

    Looking good maybe an easier way with the tight exhaust corners is to 45 then weld it then slice the peak at 45 and bend that flap over. To be honest the front section of the fender looks good. The rear not so, never seen a fender on the rear look like a front fender of a jeep put on backwards. If the exhaust started from the bottom all one piece and was bent with not so tight of a radius then a nice gradual radius over the rear of the tire maybe ending half way down the tire. Cutting and starting over is not fun but sometimes is the best way. This might be one of those times.

  • @presbytony
    @presbytony ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I am not a creator or fabricator but after looking at several pictures of 1930’s c cab tankers it seems your use of exhaust pipe will make the fender and running board assembly much heavier than need be. After looking at those pictures it seems that square stock could be used as a frame to support sheet metal which could be formed to whatever shape you desire. Either way, however, would be a challenge. This isn’t a criticism just a thought. You’re ultra-creative and to a fantastic job. Although I don’t fabricate cars I do learn many things from you that I can use in other applications. Keep on truckin!

      @@grahamsatherley7996 ............
      #1) Most of the time, Chad does do additional work on these fabrications (and builds in general) during the rest of his day. They just don't film it.
      #2) Could you do the thinking, then the cutting, bending and welding that Chad does, in only an hour or hour and half?
      WITH the tools that he uses?
      Maybe YOU can.
      I have no embarrassment in admitting, that I couldn't do that.
      Heck, as thoughtful and analytical as I am, I would most likely still be making my plan 45 minutes into a video.😁
