Because of this song and art. I have been introduced to so much stuff I might've missed out on. An entire genre of music, ElectroPop, and it revived my love for anime. I sometimes listen to the song and then start reminiscing the last few months I had. They were wonderful. I'll never, ever forget this song, and more importantly, this remix.
I want to get into in Anime but it feels so weird when I watch it. The only Anime I could stand was Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon and Attack on Titan. I think it's the noises that weird me out. All the grunts and shit. But hey, enjoy your anime

"I gave up everything in a slow fall down to the floor": He stopped doing everything. Just stayed in bed, lifeless, if lucky eating a small meal every few days. He gave up everything, and slowly down an endless spiral he went.
"Life was escaping me, I couldn't find myself": He didn't know what to do anymore. He felt lifeless, like nothing, and couldn't find the him that he lost before (assuming this) he became depressed.

Not anymore": When he couldn't find himself, he lost everything. His strength, his want to live. But then, suddenly, it changed.
"I'm holding on to all the pieces of my hearts debris": He's holding on to every last bit of himself he has, every piece of hope, as if his life depends on it, which I believe it does.

And know it's mine": He'll get better eventually, he just needs time. He can't find the courage to do so, so he just keeps pushing it. It's like procrastination. I know all of you have said: "Eh, I'll study later.." Then you end up failing that test.

Something that completely changed him, and gave him a reason in his mind to live, even though there are a plentiful amount of reasons to everyone else. And it's a good thing. So, he keeps it inside, but this song is referring to that as a necklace. "I wear it like a message, so I don't forget it." He has something to remember that experience. He doesn't want to forget it because it changed him as a person, for the better. Nothing can be good without a bit of bad. He's keeping it because it's a part of him now.
