You making me feel bad bro lol. I have 3 bottles & im almost finished with 1. My 3rd most recent bottle didn't come with a box as well so the box might be done with.
I agree good cognac price point is to high for a vsop
I tried it once. At a family gathering. It was a great pour. Just wish I could get locally. Instead of buying it online
I drink mine, probably on my 4th bottle. It should definitely be cheaper. The second two I ordered didn't come with the box.

My problem is when I spend money like that on a bottle I end up not drinking it. You are right, it's no good sitting on the shelf.

Price point was too hight to begin with....Packaging is roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of the retail product.... The Juice in the Bottle is maybe 1/4... the rest is shipping & handling & PROFIT Margin....A NEW VSOP can not be priced within $15-$20 of where XO Cognac begins and be deemed a worthy purchase... Hell they are Aged Rums that are Older & Smoother for the Same $$$....& sell Vastly more without Any Celebrity Owners or Endorsement
