The white you see on the auger is lithium grease that I sprayed on the bolts so that they would resist rust and I spread the excess on the plate.. I may also take the float bowl cover off and spray some carb cleaner over the needle and seat and inside the bowl and not take it off for a dunk in the ultrasonic (I don't think it needs that extensive cleaning)..
