    I wouldn’t upgrade for it but I think it’s nice for those purchasing their first Easypress. These machines (along with the mats) can be quite costly, especially when first released. I wouldn’t waste the money just to have my phone tell me what setting to use when I’ve spent 3 years learning all of that. I’ll wait for more significant changes.

      Yes, I wouldn't upgrade either. I like my Easypress 2 and I already know my most often used settings. And I have made a notes for all my htv's and they're all the time visible on front of my desk. Much quicker than to take a phone, find a app, make a connection, make a new project, choose settings etc. No, it's not for me. Maybe I'm too old fashioned. :D

    A little bit of weird question. We have someone in our household with a pretty progressive neurological disorder. Therefore we do not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, because this has been recommended by doctors. My question is just to make absolutely sure, can you use the easy3 with out the application on your phone. Or does it has to be connected before it will work? Then it would be better for us to get the older version maybe.

    • @AngieHolden

    Hi Angie! I hope you're doing well! I finally decided to get an Easy Press. And after weighing the 2 and 3, I went with the 3. Well I'm regret it. My set up and update was kit as simple as you would have thought. I had a heck of a time getting the press to connect to the app. But after an hour and half, and a lot of frustration 😖, I finally got it connected. But now I can't even use it with the app, since I can't even get it to update! 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I'm using it manually, which defeated the purpose in purchasing the EP 3. Any suggestions on what I can do? Besides uninstalling the app? Because I've done that and it was another 45 minutes before I was able to connect and add again. I'm one step away from trashing it! 😡😤

    This looks cool! I saw they have a new blue easy press mini do you know if this works with the heat app/ has Bluetooth or if it is just blue

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It does NOT work with Cricut Heat. It is just blue to match the others.

    How do you get all these machines sent to you for free? I'm retired, on limited income, so cannot afford any of these.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am sent these as part of my job for making videos about Cricut crafting.

      It should be before the launch of the press so March 13th at the latest. I have early access.

    Why almost everything needs to be in an app to run....

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please watch the entire video as you can use this with the app but it also works fine without any app.

    Not sure of the value here. I guess the app could be helpful for reminders and walking through the project…. Will not be taking the bait…

      It is convenient. I do see a huge value with people that are just starting out. I probably would not use the feature a ton.

    Money grab release!

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As discussed in the video, this is definitely not something that you need to upgrade for. Not sure why that it would be a money grab.

    • @kr33k00
      @kr33k00 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not yet: this is called “planned obsolescence” and you can see it with the Maker machines. It’s getting more and more inconvenient to use a Maker 2, until you will HAVE to upgrade. I like your videos and my comment was not about you, but about Cricut.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is the Cricut holographic vinyl and the color is translucent blue. It is really cool!
