Bonnie was a very good actress, she played the role of Ginny wonderfully; I also think they could have put more moments where Ginny was really "badass" But I’m still grateful that they created the character I love the most in Harry Potter as a beautiful and strong person.

I read an interview about the kiss between Harry and Ginny. The reason it was awkward was because they felt like it was a kiss between siblings since they’d known each other so long.
Same goes for Emma and Rupert. They were hella awkward.

Bonnie Wright was the perfect Ginny. No matter what others say, that they call her 'stiff', 'bland', I will always think that she is Ginny Weasley, not Bonnie Wright. In my opinion, Ginny, the character, is wonderful. (I haven't seen the movies, so I'm basing of the book-version and the videos I seee on TH-cam). Yes, the movie did make Ginny's character a bit uhh- But Bonnie Wright still played Ginny wonderfully. Wonderfully. Wonderfully.

The thing is, I don't even disagree that movie!Ginny couldn't have been better. But to be fair, Movie!Ginny does highlight the gentler, sweeter, kinder nature of Book!Ginny which was absolutely present in the books, like when she comforted Ron after he asked out Fleur, or when she helped Harry talk about Sirius, or comforting Harry after Dumbledore's death, or comforting the young girl during the battle of Hogwarts.
It's one of the reasons why I've grown to be rather fond of Movie!Ginny and am no longer as hard on her as the rest of the fandom as I used to be, even though I much, much prefer Book!Ginny.

Bonnie Wright played Ginny flawlessly. Her portrayal of Ginny's emotional trauma's and its effects on her was very much like in the books. Bonnie played Ginny's stoic and detached personality, her isolation and introvert nature while maintaining her inner toughness so perfectly.
Alright, I usually doesn’t have lots of emotion of movies what so ever, but me being a big Harry Potter fan, this video made me shed a tear.

I will never understand who rather Harmione than Hinny.These two are pure perfection
they had 0 chemistry, 0 build-up, 0 flirting unless you count the movies. Just harry kisses her and she just happens to regain her crush on him and kiss him back. And the only way they show affection is kissing which is pretty similer to Ginny and Deans relationship. I dont beleive they say "I love you" to each other once in the series. And the chances of someone remaining with there girlfriend/Boyfriend from school is pretty low.

But all the same, JK Rowling had to make harry have a love interest and so she made Ginny appear absolutely perfect in HBP. Thats not a good way to portray a love interest because if Harry is only willing to accept perfect people as a love interest than... my opinion of him just changed a lot.
