That method where you pull out a single thread with your needle was so awesome. I’m gonna try floss cards soon!! Thank you for uploading. I hope you’re still stitching! 💕

Thanks for telling me where to get the needles from. I'll not be buying any when the postage is £4. I'll have to wait until I need other goodies. Thoroughly enjoyed the zoom chat, thank you for your time Alison🤗

I get worked up with peps calling thread floss but I think it's just a Brit thing lol. I cut and store my threads the same as you but recently have started to plait them and put the number label on the plait! Take care

I have a question about starting a new color or thread. If you can't do a loop start because you're doing one over one, how do you start a new thread? Do you park that over to the right also?

I'm doing 1over1 full cross on mother of dragon, I start and finish with a waste thread to the right

Thats how I unravel my floss. I call it floss and am scottish lol. Sorry your colour was off I had a joy sunday and one my colours was off I noticed due pattern pic as they gave me a green and I needed a pale blue I needed 3747 and the kit had a green colour. I also take my floss out like you do. If you did put your floss on eoth loop other way you pull from the side branches if you did get a kit that had it the way you don't. Great vid. I have so much floss to sort.

Lovely tutorial Alison 👌....I also get my floss ready like this but I only cut one end,the end thats holding the cut end and loops. I stitch using 2 strands so it's perfect for pulling 1 thread and folding it in half to make 2 strands and start with loop start. No fuzziness etc. My question is, do you go though your kits and match the Dmc floss in kit to a card or something....how did you know that the 1 color was wrong and what if there's other colors wrong 🤔?? I never thought to check...but I've never bought a Haed kit yet, only Dimensions and that was before I discovered full coverage last year. Enjoy your new start and looking forward to seeing your progress and speedy stitching with Royal Rows....everybody is talking about it and trying it out 🥰

Thankyou for your kind comment. The reason I knew the colour was wrong was because on pattern keeper, when you select your next symbol/stitch, at the top right on pk it tells you the colour number, next to it is a mini pic of the colour, I had light and the colour showing was alot darker xx

@@RoyalStitcher ohhh...ok makes sense. When I 1s started using PK to me none of the colors matched up,but after rechecked my threads a million times I got used to them being little bit different shade on pk. It wasn't a kit...I kitted myself. But now I will probably check if I buy a kit....so glad you caught that mistake

Thanks hunni, just watched this in prep for putting all my floss onto my floss drops today, fingers crossed my thread arrives today! Question though, when you pull your thread out from where it’s looped onto the card, does it come off really curly/coily? I’ve got a project that came up kitted up same way the HAED material pack was and I find of I pull the thread off like that it comes off really coily and then it knots up easily. Not sure why x

Hey, mine doesn't, I think because I have them loose they pull out easy, the tight it is the more likely you'll get kinks xx
