Don’t worry too much, if you’re scoring 19s, you should then focus on your essays. Although i can tell you that i’ve been always scoring really low as well, i was able to get to 25/45s which wasn’t so bad, just trust yourself, good luck tomorrow!

Is an intro paragraph necessary? I’m wondering if this is also true for the RA, especially for getting the sophistication point.

the essays are scored out of three categories
-Thesis statement
-Evidence and commentary
-Sophistication
in order to get the thesis statement point, you need a thesis statement and the thesis statement is (almost always) the last sentence in the introduction so yes, you need an introduction.
