My favorite go-to reviewer. Didn't realize how many flashlights you have covered even the ones I hadn't known existed. Way to go.Erry Christmas, Charles. Keep up the informative work. 👍⭐
Nice review as always. You can double click from off to get to moonlight, triple click from off to get to turbo, or press and hold from off to get the memorized level.
It's a sign of old age Charles when you have a hard time opening a box like that it's a sign of old age but I love that flashlight the most favorite part of that flashlight is that button that power button I love that power button it's big you be able to feel it in your pocket not like somebody other ones it's very awesome thank you for sharing this wonderful product and a great company to go with it 👍🏆👍
Another good review Charles. Good job! I like the fact that you use the same park with the same distances to review all of your flashlights. This way I have been able to compare beam shots and distances of several flashlights from your reviews. Love the oversized side button on the e4k. But no external USB charging port on the flashlight is a touch inconvenient. The worst thing about the e4k is that Turbo lasts only from about 25 - 45 seconds!!! ... and then tanks considerably from 4,400 all the way down to a very shocking and disappointing 1050 lumens. That's totally, unacceptably horrible! Nitecore really needs to up their game on this one. Better to go with the Acebeam L30 Gen II's and it's 3 minutes of turbo, the Klarus XT21X Pro's 1.6 minutes of turbo or the Sofirn SP33S XHP70.2's 1.8 minutes of turbo, which presently are my top three flooders, all reasonably sized, well built with good range, have good thermal management, a side button and a well defined, strong beam with lotsa spill. They also have good run times in high mode. Just my 2 cents ...
Great review Charles as usual.. Thanks for your diligent work .. I got a Sofirn SP36 under the tree -thanks to your videos ;).... Wow, I love it too. Thing is a beam of destruction.. LoL My son got a Wowtac W1 under the tree aa well. He is also very impressed.. Especially its size! ...crazy. Im planning to buy a t4k, it is also a 4k lumens but seeing this e4k review of yours changed my mind. I like the fact that it can easily be replaced its li-ion batt. I need to twist the tailcap thou it's weird. so charles I can't half press it when changing modes?
Charles, where you getting the 20a discharge rating? I saw the label as you spun the battery, said max 15a. That's still really awesome for a protected cell
The OEM cell under the wrapper is a 20A cell. It has very powerful protection at 15A limits the cell. Its a habbit of mine to quote OEM specs sometimes. Thanks for watching!
Look at the specs I posted in video again, you will see in the small print *That 30 minutes TURBO runtimes was achieved without temperature regulation. Take care.
@@CharlesBridgTec ok, thank you. also, is it normal for the battery to take a few hours to charge? the light was plenty bright when i unboxed it, but i figured i'd charge it anyway.
It looks like a pretty good torch but it is completely spoilt with a non-standard 2170 battery, they definitely should have a standard design with a proper USB charging port built into the torch to take a standard 2170 battery..
Very helpful review. Thank you. Your night shots are the most helpful “beam shots” I’ve seen to see how lights work in real world.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!

Same here 👍
Either this light or the Wowtac A4.
I just can't do the BSS V4 (Side port looks a bit flimsy)
Depends on what beam type you want for the E4k is more of a combination beam type and the WowTac A4 is a thrower. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Charles. I'll probably go with the flood of the E4K. Love 21700
Compared to Nitecore P10ix, which one you can recommend? Thanks
P10ix. Thanks for watching!
Thanks.
HI Charles, whats the temperature on this light in Kelvins? Or how would you rate it? Cool white, neutral white or warm white? Thanks

Which do you prefer between this and the i4000r? Can't decide between them
Depends on size at this point for the i4000R is bigger. Thanks for watching!
I think the i4000 is more of a tactical light as well with the tail switch.
nice review Charles...how long does turbo last?
It was lasting about 45 seconds in the night shots in cold weather. Thanks for watching!
kind of misleading Charles manual shows turbo last for 30min 2:36
Look at the specs I posted in video again, you will see in the small print *That 30 minutes TURBO runtimes was achieved without temperature regulation. Take care.
I ordered Thrunite tc20, should I regret my purchase? Or is the tc20 not far behind this flashlight?
Well you will be happy. The E4K is more floody than the TC20. Thanks for watching!

is it really not stepping down at high mode (!=%= LUMENS)? Over 3 hours of running time without stepping down seems quite a lot...?
It will cycle down due to heat and can increase if weather is colder. Thanks for watching!

hello my friend nitecore e4k in high mode (1050 lumens) 3 hours 15 minutes continuous 1050 lumens? Or will it subside after a few minutes? Thanks

How do you plug in the charging cord?
Charging port is on battery. Thanks for watching!
Great light great review. Can you please tell me how this light compares to lumintop odf30c?
Well the Lumintop is more of a combination beam type which the Nitecore is more fllod beam type. Thanks for watching!
Can it stick to 4400 lumens and not step down until we change the mode?
All high powered lights will cycle down. Thanks for watching!
I bought this, my first mod will be putting a magnet in the base.
