    Does your white cabinets and furniture turn yellowish after some years? How to choose white materials that do not turn yellowish? What do you do to white furniture that turn yellowish? Yellowish white looks old. Thanks.

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has only been 2 and half years so I don’t really have problem with my cabinets turning yellow so far. I think the best way is to avoid high amount of direct sunlight and wipe down any grease and dirt often.

    Happen to chance to your channel. I must say, wow, nice 4 room flat. How much was the reno cost? I also have 4 room flat but did very little work as pretty much everything was done already (premium BTO) except kitchen, lighting and wardrobe. Yours look very cosy and I feel it's probably about time to do reno. BTW, is your floor laminated?

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you :) the reno cost within our budget of 30k. The living room floor is vinyl with wood texture.

    • @44jwong
      @44jwong 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@INFINITIDY Wow, that's an affordable budget (as I heard some people actually do reno that cost them 80 - 100k). May I know the reno you did, what did it include? Flooring? Tiles? Wardrobe? Because when I look at your toilet wall / floor tiles for example, all sparkling clean and newish and white (in between tiles you don't see mould - not sure the term used to describe).
      Thanks, love it.

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@44jwong The reno includes adding vinyl flooring for living room and 3 bedrooms, cabinets in living room, kitchen, wardrobe, bathrooms (and shower glass too) and also service yard (adding small washing area and ironing table).

    Hi, may I know how do you know if a white material will become yellowish in future? How to avoid choosing white furniture that will turn yellowish? How to make yellowish white material white again? Thanks. Your home is very nice. I like white and light brown colors too, but a bit afraid of white furniture, I had a Ikea Besta white cabinet with doors and after some months the white turned yellowish and looked old. Some of my white plastic drawers and white air con also become yellowish.

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jason L When white furnitures turn yellowish, I think it depends on many things... such as the quality of the product or the environment where the product is being placed. When choosing white furniture, I think you have to be more diligent in cleaning and make sure to avoid it being exposed too extreme sunlight or moisture.

    I might be too slow to write a comment but finally, just have come across to the wonderful TH-cam sight introducing Singapore well renovated HDB home. Unlike other gorgeously decorated HDB flat unit with hundreds of thousand dollars spent with, you have done everything so neat and economically for relatively young average HDB occupiers and also with slight Japanese kind of touch. Am not sure if you have successfully found next owner yet, otherwise it's definitely an opportunity to introduce your beautiful room to the people looking for a reasonable flat to enjoy living in rather everything EXPENSIVE Singapore now a days.Just for your information, If you like to follow kind a Japanese style at dining table, please do not put your chop-sticks in vertical but please let it sit in horizontal. It is to show no intention of attacking against person sitting in front of you, who is your guest at most of occasion. Thanks anyway for the nice movie. Hope to see more like this kind in future! Cheers!

    White furniture is high maintenance. It yellows over time. But beautiful ❤️

      @@jmsc8 the service yard gets dusty easily more than any other room but as long as I don't put too many things on the surface, it's pretty easy to clean.

    Love the very super clean, neat and tidy HDB. Just the way I like it, so that I can find my things without spending 5 mins looking for it.

    Question what is the reason u put the fridge in between your sink and hob? First time I am seeing this in a kitchen

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I got asked about this a lot! The reason is because my fridge is a double door and both doors can only be opened fully if it's placed in the centre.

    The nicest homes are the ones free from clutter. I spotted you have your bidet spray on the left of the toilet bowl which means the user will use his left hand to hold the spray and the right hand to wash his backside. This is conventionally not quite right. Just sayin...

    • @INFINITIDY
      @INFINITIDY  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right. I was surprised when they install it that way too but I still use right hand to hold the spray and left hand to do other thing because the pipe is long enough, by the way :)
