His voice is still soothing and he always puts the way he plays guitar front and center. He the most talented singer, song writer performer and musician. He plays with his heart and in John's voice you are able to see the beauty in his personality. He's missed by all of those who loved him. Rest in peace my friend.
Saw John in 71 by accident b.j. Thomas was to play I didn't want to attend as I'd heard tie yellow ribbon too many times . Sorry to say but he canceled John showed Instead I was amazed never heard of him but never forgot. What a showman. Comedy , humble , song singing guy. Never regret and I took my kids to co. Playing rocky mtn.. High . They thought we were stupid till they spent a wk. There. By time we left they were asking me to play J.D. on the way home .

If it were possible, his vocals improved with age. With the level of voice maturity and modulations can we all imagine the quality of his voice if he were still alive?! he was like a fine wine improving with age!!!

For me the best voice ever-love this mans voice -God keep him close please.I am privileged just to hear him.
