Quite a few people saying they cried while listening to this song. Same here. It's heartwarming how people from all over the world can connect through a song.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful...and Martin Lee´s completely same voice as it was before, and that cute little dance, and crowd cheering...tears of joy, really.
Your comment is very encouraging to read! I'm 67, and I was a radio DJ when this song was a big hit here in the USA, and I still just love this. Honestly, the 70s were truly a remarkable decade of just so much good music.
Those good old songs and days when everything made much more sense and straightforward. Listening to these songs, you don’t need drug or anti depressants to be relaxed and happy.
The full orchestral arrangement (which also featured in their live Eurovision appearance) is mind-blowing. Far better than the record that mainly used guitars and softer harmonies.
I listen this first time in 2016 when I was in Canberra, I consider this as one of the most closest song to my heart because it connects fathers love with his cute daughter. Fantastic
this is one of the most pure songs on the face of the earth. the last bit always gets me. "... even though you're only three...?" it's so wholesome! 💞 love to the uk from the usa!
This group might have been what people call a version of Abba, albeit a less famous, more happier close knit version. I was born 3 years after this song was released and only just heard it 3 weeks ago, and now can't stop listening to it. Taken that I grew up in the golden era of Hip Hop and Rnb this is a far cry from the songs I would otherwise listen to. Live this group.
Totally agree with you! The UK winners are really great, really among the best songs to win. Puppet on a string, Boom bang a bang (with Congratulations in the middle), Save your kisses, Making your mind up and then Love shine a light. This is the greatest and more quality line up of victories in the contest, hands down. Ok maybe the Swedish winners are very catchy but the UK winners have an extra quality, an X factor (much more than the Irish or French winners in any case).
Среди современной пошлости и бедарности которую так часто выказывают артисты,вышли эти Люди,настоящие артисты и им подпевает весь зал и со всех уголков мира!❤До слез тронуло!🥲
Those lovely 1970s. Waterloo, Save your kisses for me... Why in 21st century don't we have the Eurovision song that may become the great hit in the whole world?
Euphoria did well in the Download Charts of some Countries outside Europe and Only Teardrops came 2nd in the Brazilian Charts (And since 2009 all Winners (and The Common Linnets), except Ell&Niki and Conchita, charted in Australia). ^ This are the biggest Successes new Eurovision Songs got outside Europe.
This song still works in 2018. If Eurovision had a really 'honest' performance, a really cute tone and while cheezy, a good delivery - it just works. It feels like a honest song.
+Glen ODonoghue Now it's just the hillbilly bollocks coming from the backward East European countries voting for each other. Worst thing ever was becoming an EU, Uk & Ireland would be better off out of it in every way.
Okay Glen, whatever you're into, the Eurovision is not on my list of priorities since Ireland or the UK don't win it anymore. I still occasionally look up Johnny Logan or the Riverdance stuff after I've been out for a pint.
This is the most adorable song ever. It melts my heart as the crowd sings along. Loved this concert along with Graham Norton and Petra Mede!
💕💕💕💕💕💕

RIP: and thank you for being with us❤
Imagine this song must be playing in heaven. Somehow lovely people we lost waiting there to meet us again above the sky. 🖤
when the crowd started cheering loudly at their dance, that made me cry
Me too
Me TOO YO....😁
Im crying while watching to this. Not because i am sad... but because it gives me joy. ☺ such a pure and innocent song. I love it.
X2
oh, yes. i`m so too.
I'm only 15 and I love this song! I can't understand why they don't sing such masterpieces with a real message anymore.
I know right.. I am 12 and I love it

We just think so because we tend to sugarcoat the past. Most people were not more relaxed.
Beautiful song!!! Pleasant memories! It was my wedding day !!! 🥂🍾💕💕
What a great song. Brought tears to my eyes when they did those familiar movements in the chorus.
Absolutely Adorable :) Love this song. I still listen to this song
God, I wasnt even born in 1976! This song is such a joy! So glad that they ve won 40 years ago! #RomaniaHere
So cute

I literally burst into tears. Such good memories :')
I burst into tears...and this is more than twice as twice as old as me...I just get very emotional listening to music like this ^^

R.I.P. Martin Lee, terrific singer,
Thank you for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 UK!
Love from the Netherlands.
I was about to lament they didn't do the little dance... then they did the little dance!
So cute!
19 years old now and this is probably the best song I've ever heard :(
R.I.P. Martin Lee (1946-2024)
Magic!! The 70's sounds are amazing!!
It’s 2023 and this song still tickles me in a good way ❤
this is one of the most pure songs on the face of the earth. the last bit always gets me. "... even though you're only three...?" it's so wholesome! 💞 love to the uk from the usa!

Anyone who would down-vote this clip has a heart of stone.
Rest in peace Martin Lee. 😭💔
Roma,1976,l'ascoltavo da una delle prime radio libere della capitale...che bello....
R.I.P. Martin😢
I'm a millennial but cannot follow the nowadays song, for me, the goldies music is always in the heart of people who enjoy music so much

I love you. Sometimes a single song is enough
The last line really makes this song so cute

Those were the days when pop music was at its best. Kudos to the band. Greetings from Mumbai India.
5th Times winner and a lot as Runner-up. When UK got the first place, they did with unforgettable songs. I love this one, and they're still amazing.

They're contemporaneous of my dad. Think of that years made me feel nostalgic. It's beautiful, but sad too.

What a fabulous song, I get really nostalgic when I listen to this song.
THIS IS STILL THE "BEST SELLING EUROVISION SONG" RIGHT?!?
Those lovely 1970s. Waterloo, Save your kisses for me... Why in 21st century don't we have the Eurovision song that may become the great hit in the whole world?
Arseniy Moskovenko Euphoria
motopa123456 Euphoria was only a hit in Europe. It's totally unknown anywhere else.
MmeKastaffiore False. It was a success in Mexico too.
Salvador Silva At some gay clubs, maybe...

Remember when the UK and Ireland took pride in winning the Eurovision? Those were good times. What went wrong?
+Glen ODonoghue Now it's just the hillbilly bollocks coming from the backward East European countries voting for each other. Worst thing ever was becoming an EU, Uk & Ireland would be better off out of it in every way.

haha so do I, drunken goosebumps.
Glen ODonoghue Financial issues for Ireland. Hosting it four times within a five year timespan in the 90s costed a lot.
Things are looking better for the United Kingdom, after Sam Ryder.
I lowe yoy!! Люблю вас))
Bye-bye baby Bye-bye. Какое счастье снова послушать эту песню❣
Светлая память Martin Lee🙏
best song from UK ever
