- 30% of the grounds on my 160 list have been completed in 12 months! These have raised lots of questions from viewers over the past year including what is the best and worst ground and how much do you earn?
Bonus point, what are the four grounds on my thumbnail???
Hi love your podcast being a Gillingham supporter now living in perth Western Australia. I agree loved going to away games in lower leagues and not premiership . The lower league supporters are more appreciated when away fans turn up.Many fond trips watching Gills at Colchester, Southend, Swindon, Charlton etc. I agree when you went to pompey how passionate and nice ground they got. Keep up the good work and enjoy your trips. Maybe one day come down under and watch A league match, Perth Glory over Christmas 😊

Hi stu were always had tough games against you imps but I remember 1973 our promotion year playing against a decent Lincoln striker John Ward I think.

Very interesting Matt, and gives a good insight of your ideas and plans for your channel. Very wise to advise any interested future vloggers to concentrate firstly on their own jobs or career, and use this as a hobby. Only very few longstanding bloggers can earn a living doing this. Even i only have enough time and interest to choose what i watch. Your site is on my list, and like myself your also a big Gills fan. Some bloggers post every day on youtube. That is simply too much, and as you said, the bubble will burst one day. You have all the backups to do what you do...A career, family and your own house. These young guys will have to leave the family nest one day, and then it will be hard. However, i still think its great that these guys do their own thing. Keeps them out of mischief mate

@@mattthegroundhopper9242 and i will continue to do so Matt. Difficult to get so many subscribers in the first place, as there are so many sites saturating the internet. I watch yours, around the grounds, and of course our Matt on gibtv. Very occasionally 2 other big bloggers, but saving shirts is not my thing lol. I notice your number of viewers vary considerably, depending on which games you follow. Personally watch them all. Dont give up the main income though, but i know you are too switched on, to make that mistake. Others have done and have disappeared. UTG
Matt, at the end of your travels. Put up your best of every division. Obviously your visit to aldershot will be the best in the national league. Up the shots. Ps we still can't defend, but when you score 7 who cares lol😂

You talk a lot of sense especially around PL football. Gimme EFL or non league any day of the week. £6 for a coke and mars bar is shocking too but people still pay it!

Since I got monetised on TH-cam, I've earned about £500 in total. Its a good little top up but you couldn't do it as a full time job unless you were getting 100K views plus per video consistently.
A top up of money is a good description, for me this is a hobby and whatever I earn is a bonus 👍🏻⚽️
