Right before ishan place that boat on the water you can see him turning a wooden piece which is used as propellor.. Once he place that boat on the water the propellor start to rotate and the boat moves forward.. Like toys which will move forward when we give key to them..
Abhishek Bachchan has faced the same situation in his childhood . He has helped Aamir Khan to understand the mentality of that kind of kids . Thus , this scene was a small thanks to him from makers.
We did the same experiment in school after watching this movie. The rubber band is twisted and now the rubber band is placed on the little stick and now the rubber band is trying to unwind from twist so it also rotates the stick.but the stick has small protudings which push water.Now that i am a professional engineer i feel so great about those days and proud of this movie.
There's an old malayalam movie "Sphatikam". It's a mass entertainer kinda movie. But a part of it is about a similar issue of education system in India. This scene actually reminded me of that. But, unfortunately the hero in that movie didn't have a mentor like Aamir Khan's character. Hence, he ends up becoming a rowdy/ thug.
I just learnt today, everyone please read about Einstein, he was genius since childhood, I wish d director learnt more about him than from social media university like I did once …though it was a great film
