Hi John, this is a great question! Based on you saying that you would just now be starting your brand I would recommend going with the A2Z Swing Away Heat Press. It's a great starter press with good size at 15"x15", great ease of use, and a good entry point for your first heat press. As for a heat transfer, if you would prefer to go with screen print transfers I'd recommend Goof Proof from TransferExpress.com as they're a great option for 1 to 2 color printing options. If you own a vinyl cutter and prefer to go with heat transfer vinyl, I'd suggest sticking with UltraWeed which can be found on Stahls.com. It's our most universal heat transfer vinyl and applies at a very low temp and has great feel.
So I have a question about my heat press and I am HOPING you can answer. So I have a Hix HT-400/HT-600. It has a dial to give you temperature. But the manual does not say what temperature every number is! 😡😭 It only says what 8 is (it's 350). It goes from 0-10. Can you tell me what temperatures the other numbers are? 🙏 I've tried google searching and haven't come up with anything 😡
There are application instructions with every material that will tell you what temperature you should be using but if you are looking for us to help explain what a 6 (just as an example) would read out for temperature on a HIX, unfortunately since we don't manufacture those, we wouldn't know.
If your umbrella will fit, it should work fine! You may need to use a printing pillow or pad to help lift the material up and away from the wire frame.
It's to bad that this wasn't a true demo ... its a shame the heat presses weren't connect to the electrical power ... so that one could see each heat press working on it's own and see all it can do ...
Hi Lillian, we're sorry to hear this was a missed element. Fortunately, we have sooo many other videos where we are using the presses and showing them in action. If there is a specific press you'd like to see in use, let us know and we can hook you up with some other content.
Lower your prices if you want more business. It's not rocket science Chinese vendors are undercutting you badly because you insist on over-valuing your product at the moment. The chinese stuff is improving in quality all the time and its being imported into our markets right now. The Pandemic is depriving people of money, so give them a chance to buy equipment at a decent profit margin when they try to start their own business.
They have an econo line. You get what you pay for. Imported crap is just that. I have 3 hotronix for 10 + years, no issues. Same goes for plotters. It's Roland or nothing. True professionals have the best equipment.
I love my Hotronics Autoclam. Have had it for 5 years, no problems at all. More than worth the investment.
Please how can I buy the same for a cheaper price like an already used one please. Thanks for your understanding
@@sedrickhamani7843 I bought mine new. I don't know who sells used equipment.
Stahls Hotronix Heat Presses are GREAT units. We are still using a Hotronix Swinger purchased in 1988...

Hi John. Here's another handy guide to help differentiate the presses - www.stahls.com/heat-press-comparison

Does the A2z platen work for umbrellas also?

Are there any training on the interchangeable plates if I purchase any?
Hey there! We can certainly help you. There may not be a direct video, however, we can find or make something to help you!

I would shop around to other vendors to find a good quality at a lower price.
