I am generally not a fan of online ADS, I tend to block them at every chance, BUT on this I began to hear the sound from this Amp , and wow, yes I'm actually glad I was able to listen to it all... a brilliant amp, a brilliant sound
"Dixie McGuire" - You can hear this on Tommy's album "From out of Nowhere" cut live to Disk, also features Pee Wee Clark, Mark Collins, Mack Clark, Ken Francis and Rodney Ford - If you like Bluegrass this album is a must have. the collection of talent from this time 1979 is amazing and has to be heard to be appreciated. For those who don't know what live to disk is: its where the recording continues between the songs and tunes. Good for a laugh

Very decent, nice man - if a bit high strung. He even let me play his Maton for a few licks, just to see what it was like. Spent about ten minutes with him. It was a milestone, to be sure!
That's his daughter..???? I saw a clip years ago he got married to a lovely lady from Australia who's Korean. Didn't know they had a kid. Wow, good for him.
Does anyone know which pickup/s he is using? I’d really appreciate any answers for research purposes. I'm planning on building a single-pickup guitar and I really want a tone like this. Thanks in advance!!
The switch seems to be pointing upwards if I’m not mistaken? Is that a neck position? I only use a tele so I’m not familiar with how the switches work in other guitars 😅
