If you want something really good from Kamelot, try "The Haunting" feat. Simone Simmons and "Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife)" with Alissa, or something old with Roy Khan (old vocalist) like "March of Mephisto" with Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir
Love old Kamelot with Roy Khan but the new stuff is good too. They just dropped the lyric video for Ravenlight from their upcoming new album The Shadow Theory. th-cam.com/video/cQKrMeeTlfc/w-d-xo.html
OK, this is good. But I beg you, to go back and listen to their earlier albums, they are the absolute best power metal-albums I have ever heard; Their earlier singer, Roy Khan wrote some absolutely killer concept albums; Epica and The Black Halo. PLEASE listen to those albums!
The Haunting ft, Simone Simons from One Cold Winters Night. It is one of the best live CD/ DVDS I have in my collection and it stands every time. One of my friends was not wrong when he called Roy Khan the voice of god back on the earlier albums.
Yes! Ive been a huge fan of Kamelot for most of my life so I'm glad you guys got around to this. They've always had amazing vocals, their previous vocalist Roy Khan was also incredible. More Kamelot I'd suggest is The Haunting (ft. Simone Simons from Epica), Sacrimony, Hunter's Season, Karma, Memento Mori, Ghost Opera, and March of Mephisto. You can't go wrong with judt about anything from this band.
Oh wow I enjoyed this. I was a big fan of them when Khan was in the band but this is actually the first song I've heard with the current singer. He sounds like he has a very similar style and I can definitely see him pulling off the old stuff. Check out the title track from Ghost Opera. It will blow you away and it's a great part of their live set. Hope you guys enjoy the show!
I'm not a Kamelot fan, but I'm really entertained with how the roles are reversed in this song. A guy singing angelic cleans and Alissa just annihilating with her growls. Gotta give props to the band for letting her do her thing.
You should definitely go to that show! I've seen all three of these bands before, they all play excellent music, and they all do a great job live. You're in for a treat!
I recommend you AYREON (is a musical project by Dutch songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist musician and record producer Arjen Anthony Lucassen) In this project you can find Tommy Karevik (Kamelot), Simone Simons (EPICA), Floor Jansen and Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Anneke van Giersbergen (ex The Gathering, VUUR),Russell Allen (Symphony X), and maaaany more great artists! For start you can listen The Day That The World Breaks Down - The Source (2017) or Everybody Dies (Ayreon Universe). Great video as always :D
Kamelot is one of the first bands i've heard. They are really great. You should definitly check some of the older songs back when Roy Khan was the singer, which was a much better period in my opinion. I'd recommend The Human Stain to check out next!
Aong with Sonata Arctica, these guys are responsible for introducing me to power metal and stoking the fires of my love of the genre. They have changed over the years, and Tommy has only been the vocalist for 2 (about to be 3) albums now, but they continue to be a band I can rely on for a solid album release, and I will forever be indebted to them for their contribution to me becoming the metalhead i am today. They have alot of great and classic fan favorite songs, like: "The Haunting (Somewhere In Time)" (Ft. Simone Simons from Epica), "Center Of The Universe", "Forever", "March Of Mephisto" (Ft Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir), "Nights Of Arabia" etc. If you decide to react to either "The Haunting" or "March Of Mephisto" I would advise you to look for the album versions of the songs (as tempting as it may be to watch the music videos), because unfortunately they used the single versions of both of those songs which cut the songs down and cut out cool parts of the songs like solo bits. I am still angry about that. Glad you liked them, though!
I have no Words for the awesome voice Alissa has, these screams are epic, these clean vocals give me goosebumps. I wish i would have a record of her sreaming for 12hours and clean vocals for 12 hours becuz only then my life would make sense again :D :D :D :D
Kamelot is really good! 2 other good songs are "the haunting" and "march of mephisto". There are still 2 songs that I am sooo looking forward to see you doing reviews on. I know that you have ALOT of request and are just doing your best to listen to everybody. I think you are doing really good! I will anyway just post them in this message anyway :) Ever Dream - Nightwish (Live) Touch of Blessing - Evergrey Take care guys and keep up the good work! :)
YAAAAAAAA!!! Started it off with a dynamite choice, guys! I'd say the next Kamelot song to go for is March of Mephisto! The original video, as that features Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir. When I first got into Kamelot, it was because of Liar Liar and March of Mephisto.
You should definitely do some Delain. Perhaps "Suckerpunch", or "Fire with Fire" if you are interested in a live version. Also there is a live video out there from the song "Tragedy of the Commons" with Alissa White-Gluz as guest vocalist.
I just looked in the description and saw that you were going to see Havok in a couple of days and Anthrax in a couple months. I just saw them both on Thursday night for the Killthrax tour, and all Im gonna tell you is both are fucking amazing!
These are really great songs from Kamelot, guys. KAMELOT - Forever (Live) th-cam.com/video/EqqPYySZnVY/w-d-xo.html 7:55 minutes -KAMELOT - Elizabeth (I, II & III) th-cam.com/video/ecvHBLadaxM/w-d-xo.html 12:48 minutes You are going to love these ones, specially the first one. Both are LIVE VIDEOS. And from Delain, maybe this one: DELAIN - Suckerpunch (Official Video) | Napalm Records th-cam.com/video/qmo06CrXP4M/w-d-xo.html 4:20 minutes I give you all the info guys!
WOW, thanks!! This band is fucking amazing quallity. Next album is near!!! Can't wait!!! ;-) Greetings from Spain!! My English is poor but I watch your videos every day and I try to understand you daily also, hahaha, because I like your passion for this music, which I also love. Saludos desde España. Melhores cumprimentos e obrigado da Galicia ;-)
They REALLY cut out of a lot from that break down. You should listen to the FULL version outside of this :D. If I may recommend more Kamelot these are my picks: 1. Sacrimony - Everyone's first introduction to Tommy as a singer w/ supporting vocals by Alyssa and Amoranthe's Elize Ryd. We were impressed! 2. The Human Stain - My favorite Kamelot song sang by the one and only Roy Khan. So good! 3. Rule the World - Fist pumping epicness coupled with the beauty of Roy's voice.
Kamelot is a great band but i suggest to check their older stuff with the previous singer Roy Khan who was absolutely insane. I like the actual singer too (especially with his first band, Seventh Wonder) but I have to say that he seems too similar to Khan in Kamelot (I guess that is a required think by the band because Khan was a very iconic singer in the power metal scene).
This video is part of a trilogy of videos from this album, watch all three to get the story. If you haven't heard Delain, check out their new live DVD, you'll love them. Great band. There's a newish video, Fire with Fire that would be a good reaction. They have a couple of pro recorded show on youtube so you can get a feel for the band. th-cam.com/video/APpyLwGyiTI/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/54WBP0NLsLw/w-d-xo.html
The singer, Tommy Karevik, has a band Seventh Wonder. Each musician in that group has too much talent. It's progressive melodic metal and it's awesome! The whole "Welcome to Mercy Falls" album is great but the title track is the one you definitely should check out. Greetings from Finland!
Tom Youngblood and I used to play together back in the day. Open up for Camelot back in 1990 and they were called the furriest before they had Khan and his name was Mark.
If you want to see both Sonata and Battle Beast on tour before you see them, on Sonata's TH-cam channel is European Tour 2012 when they toured together.
This album Haven is one of the best power/symphonic albums i personally have ever heard. I highly recommend it.. and they have a new album coming out April 6th
YOU HAVE TO CHECK THESE: Karma, Center of the Universe (this one gives me goosebumps), III ways to Epica, Nights of Arabia. Also as an FYI, the band Epica took their name from Kamelot's Epica album

From Delian listen to "The Glory and the Scum", "Tell me, Mechanist" or "Here come the vultures" as for Kamelot give either "The Haunting" or "March with Mephisto" a listen. Both bands are incredible live and have many many good and catchy songs.
The fact is that Alissa was actually a member of Kamelot before joining Arch Enemy. She did tours with the band and all. Guys, Kamelot are FUCKING EPIC! Your kid would love them, since they are more into the power metal style he digs. Check “Sacrimony” (with Alissa and Elyze from Amaranth doing vocals)
For delain I'd recommend hands of gold. It also has alissa, and is one of their heavier songs, plus it opens their newest album so they'll almost certainly play it
Definitely check out more Kamelot. They're certainly my favorite Power Metal band, and Delain is incredible, too. I've been fortunate to see them on their US Debut at ProgPower USA in 2010, and on almost every tour since lol. Some of my favorite tracks.. Did you end up making it to this show? I went when they came to SLC, and it was an excellent show. Battle Beast absolutely killed it for their set, Delain was really good, and Kamelot rocked it. They did this song, and their touring vocalist did an amazing job at replicating Alyssa's parts. Tommy, the vocalist for Kamelot, sometimes has shit talked about him, but he's an amazing showman, and his vocals were spot-on. I didn’t go, it was 19+ and with so many other shows we are attending I couldn’t make this one. Funny thing is since I have been listening to more Kamelot and now I kind of regret not going
Some other great Kamelot songs to check out(from many): Forever Center of the Universe When the Lights are Down Memento Mori Elizabeth I, II & III Lunar Sanctum Ghost Opera Eden Echo Ashes to Ashes Lost and Damned
It was worth waiting for this reaction, one of the best kamelot songs by far. They should now try Blind and frozen from beast in black, the band that formed Anton Kabanen founder expelled from battle beast.
Dude! Kamelot, Battle Beast and Delain in single evening? Would be instant buy for me! And don't underestimate the rate at which tickets will get sold for that
Hey guys, there is that one-time only band and song created uniquely to gather funds for charity. The singer from Theocracy made an AWESOME job and you would be amazed by how good the song actually is! Try "Project Aegis - Angel in the Ashes" please!! :D
hi guys!! like this video but I really prefer Kamelot with roy khan... you should react to "edge of paradise,Elizabeth or March of mephisto" all the songs in live,in the concert from Oslo called one cold winter's night.... greetings as always from México
I'm literally laughing because 2 hours after you posted this, Kamelot released the first single of their new album. So now you have more to check out in the future.
You should definitely listen to Delain - We Are The Others. The lyrics are based on a real incident that happenend in England a few years back. Plus it's one of the best bands from the Netherlands
You should react to the band PAIN. The band is a solo project by Sabatons producer Peter Tägtgren and the song "Call me" features Joakim Brodén(singer of Sabaton)
Yeah, "March of Mephisto" for sure.
I stopped listening to Kamelot when Roy Khan left the band. I loved old kamelot :(
Yes "old" Kamelot is the best!.
Yes, thumbs up for The Haunting with Simone! One of the best live performances ever!
Love old Kamelot with Roy Khan but the new stuff is good too. They just dropped the lyric video for Ravenlight from their upcoming new album The Shadow Theory. th-cam.com/video/cQKrMeeTlfc/w-d-xo.html

Eratosthenes this 👆
Yes, this is when Kamelot was at their best
I miss Roy Khan so much :(
"Epica", aaahh, the rare ol' times... :)
Syphonic metal not power metal
The Haunting ft, Simone Simons from One Cold Winters Night. It is one of the best live CD/ DVDS I have in my collection and it stands every time. One of my friends was not wrong when he called Roy Khan the voice of god back on the earlier albums.

Love Kamelot! Not an Arch Enemy fan basically because she isn't allowed to use any clean vocals ... and she has a beautiful voice!
Kamelot - March Of Mephisto
You should definitely go to that show! I've seen all three of these bands before, they all play excellent music, and they all do a great job live. You're in for a treat!
UNDER GREY SKIES it was that one that makes me emotional just because of its arrangement...It‘s just monumental
You should check out every song from the "One cold winter's night" DVD. One of my all-time favorite live performances.
I love this song. It's not often you hear Alissa White-Gluz sing clean vocals as well as growling.
Kamelot is really good! 2 other good songs are "the haunting" and "march of mephisto". There are still 2 songs that I am sooo looking forward to see you doing reviews on. React to their song March Of Mephisto featuring Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir.

listen to delain too my friends
Center of the universe is one of the best songs of Kamelot
March of Mephisto
Hey guys! If you liked Kamelot, check theck their song Sacrimony, it also features Alissa and Elyze Ryd from Amaranthe!
"Alissas growls make the song a "12"" (on a scale from 1 to 10). Couldn't agree more.
This video is part of a trilogy of videos from this album, watch all three to get the story. If you haven't heard Delain, check out their new live DVD, you'll love them. Great band. I dig your last name

Older Kamelot songs with Khan are asskicking for me...
Watch insomnia, its part of this video you will understand it more. Its what happened leading up to this video.
Great song, love Alissa clean vocals !
Guys, there's some In Flames reactions coming this month ?
That is the plan, some old school stuff
Can't wait man =)
Please react to Van Canto - Lost Forever. Its a German a cappella metal band :-)
You must listen to The black Halo or Epica albums
If you want to see both Sonata and Battle Beast on tour before you see them, on Sonata's TH-cam channel is European Tour 2012 when they toured together.
Thanks for reaction video
This album Haven is one of the best power/symphonic albums i personally have ever heard. I highly recommend it.. and they have a new album coming out April 6th
YOU HAVE TO CHECK THESE: Karma, Center of the Universe (this one gives me goosebumps), III ways to Epica, Nights of Arabia. Also as an FYI, the band Epica took their name from Kamelot's Epica album
ive seen Kamelot twice live. They are excellent live you will get neckpain from headbanging their drummer is a badass
Hey guys. When you react Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Keleidoscope? I have waited it maybe 2 or 3 months now :)
Check out The Black Halo with intro from One cold winter's night 😉 soooo good.
This album was ok but their Black Halo album from 2005 is one of the greatest masterpieces of metal music
Karma is by far best album from them in my opinion
Karma, Epica and The Black Halo is their holy trinity
You guys should react to the song Forever and Elizabeth from their album Karma
I've been waiting on more Kamelot, when can my addiction to Kamelot reactions be fueled? Are the other reactions not available on YT?
I can't believe You don't know Kamelot !!!! Epica take his name after an album of Kamelot! Great band
I beg you, listen to and react to Kamelot's 'Elizabeth' Trilogy (Live) , It's a damn masterpiece from their "Karma" album.

Definitely check out more Kamelot. They're certainly my favorite Power Metal band, and Delain is incredible, too. I've been fortunate to see them on their US Debut at ProgPower USA in 2010, and on almost every tour since lol. Some of my favorite tracks..
Kamelot:
Center of the Universe
March of Mephisto
The Haunting (Somewhere in Time)
Abandoned
Love You to Death
The Great Pandemonium
Delain:
Control the Storm
The Gathering
Your Body is a Battleground
The Glory and the Scum
Frozen
See Me in Shadow
Sleepwalker's Dream
With Alissa, I can recommend Caliban - The Ocean's Heart. It is a completely new Alissa experience.
If you haven't heard it, Alissa has been with Delain in their song The Tragedy Of The Commons from a previous Delain album.
I never really got into Kamelot, but this is actually pretty great!
Please do also Delain and Within Temptation. Both are great Dutch symphonic metal bands.
Did ypu guys drop the sabaton concert for Nightwish? I'm...conflicted XD
No. We went to Sabaton last thursday, we even did a concert review
A&P-REACTS wat what? XD. Man I was positove it was next week XD
Saw Kamelot live when they toured with DragonForce and they were great live. Recommendations for Delain would be Suckerpunch and Stardust. Both are super catchy songs/fun music videos.
Really the only marring element of the whole show was that both Delain and Kamelot had some audio balance issues in the venue. I was right next to the speaker stacks for Battle Beast's set, and screaming my face off, so I can't give you an unbiased viewpoint in that regard. Sorry I'm really late to the party on this one.
I didn’t go, it was 19+ and with so many other shows we are attending I couldn’t make this one. Funny thing is since I have been listening to more Kamelot and now I kind of regret not going
PAGAN'S MIND - GOD'S EQUATION!

Keep in mind that this song is edited in the video. It is much better on the album.
try The Haunting by kamelot
It was worth waiting for this reaction, one of the best kamelot songs by far.
They should now try Blind and frozen from beast in black, the band that formed Anton Kabanen founder expelled from battle beast.
We have done Blind & Frozen already
I'll have to look for it then!
Raised Fist - Friends And Traitors Watch this, is a Band from Sweden, is so underrated!! Greetings From Germany
Dude! Kamelot, Battle Beast and Delain in single evening? Would be instant buy for me! And don't underestimate the rate at which tickets will get sold for that
I am picking up tickets soon I hope. It cones down to Finances.
A&P-REACTS nice, I think you will like Delain too, they are more on the modern lighter side of symphonic metal but are real talanted
Borknagar - Rhymes of the Mountain
Can you react to some behemoth?
That is in the works for this month. We will see them in May, so we want to get some of their videos in between now and then.
Nice! May is gonna be a good month, I’m going to my first Ghost concert May 25 in St.Louis.
You going to love it. Seen them live twice always a incredible show
They already reacted to Blow your trumpets Gabriel
Check out Kamelot ft Polina Psycheya. She also featured in the Autist's last CD. The Autist are another portuguese symphonic metal band you might like
Hey guys, there is that one-time only band and song created uniquely to gather funds for charity. The singer from Theocracy made an AWESOME job and you would be amazed by how good the song actually is! Try "Project Aegis - Angel in the Ashes" please!! :D
Good job as always! You should check out Delain's Mother Machine.
We do have to check them out
This is nice song.
You have to react Kamelot - Sacrimony (feat. Alissa from Arch Enemy and Elize Ryd from Amaranthe)
hi guys!! like this video but I really prefer Kamelot with roy khan... you should react to "edge of paradise,Elizabeth or March of mephisto" all the songs in live,in the concert from Oslo called one cold winter's night.... greetings as always from México
Dagoba - Inner Sun
Sound City Soundtrack - From Can to Can't
The drummer is hot in this band! He is so good!
I'm literally laughing because 2 hours after you posted this, Kamelot released the first single of their new album. So now you have more to check out in the future.
I just got the alert!!! They also have a new video from the upcoming album with Charlotte Wessels from Delain
Which makes me so happy, because I've seen both bands 3 times now (mostly together), with this coming concert being the 4th

You should definitely listen to Delain - We Are The Others. The lyrics are based on a real incident that happenend in England a few years back. Plus it's one of the best bands from the Netherlands
Karevik (Kamelot singer) is even better live, he sings amazing and Delain is great band too, you won't be disappointed. Go and have fun :)

Nice. I' m not a fan of kamelot' style but this song is very good and Alissa White-Gluz is very versatile.
You should react to the band PAIN. The band is a solo project by Sabatons producer Peter Tägtgren and the song "Call me" features Joakim Brodén(singer of Sabaton)
