Yes I didn't realize I was a visual learner until I thought about how I first started doing hair because I wasn't taught I just watched Everytime I seen someone doing hair and I feel like I'm a professional now lol
Well shut the front door!!! After years of braiding my girls hair, your video is the 1st that has properly shown how to add in hair. Thank you so much!
I’ve just spent two hours watching other you tubers trying to explain how to feed hair and I didn’t understand it at all, and you’ve just managed to teach me in 5 minutes
Thank you for using blond hair bc this really made it so much clearer and easy to follow...but that is what makes you the Master Teacher that you are!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
After watching dozens of videos, this is the first one where I could really see what was going on. Your explanations were very clear, too. My kids are so happy that I learned this from you, just in time for their first day in a new school! Thank you!
My biggest aha moment was when you just went in and started adding hair. You help me say yes to the clients I may want to pass to another stylist who is more comfortable with certain styles. Your videos help me in the SALON on real days. Thank you for TEACHING ME skills I can take with me in my career. THANK YOU❤️
I’ve seen plenty of feed-in braid tutorials, but yours was the first to truly make me understand. Thank you!!! I think the combination of close visuals, contrasting hair colors, & slow movement created the aha moment for me.
The visual on this was immaculate! Your camera angle, the fact that you use a different color, your speed, your tone everything made learning how to do this very simple and I can’t wait to practice on my own hair. Thank you so much!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to do braids like this for so long so I could help my friends with their hair. I absolutely love braiding and styling coiled/curly hair. This is an absolutely amazing tutorial, thank you!!!!❤
I have my first client requesting feeding braids today so this video may have just saved my life! Watched a ton of them but this is by far the best. Thank you kindly!
Thank you so much! I first learned how to cornrow from your page and now I know how to feed in all because of you! Your videos are so detailed and in depth , I love it!!!
It's comforting to read that I was not the only one searching through multiple videos, still not understanding how to do feed in braids! This was so very helpful!
I’ve seen other techniques of feed in braids, but this is my favorite (and easiest) way to do it. I appreciate you using the blonde hair to show contrast. This was thoroughly documented. Thank you!
My aha moment was at 5:28, where you fed hair into the braid. I noticed how neatly you are able to get the hair in. There’s no unwanted crossing over between the hairs in the two and three strands. Really helpful and clear video. thank you!
I love how you showed EXACTLY how to add the hair in because in most tutorials their hand are in the way or the speed right past the actually feeding in,it is really appreciated ❤️❤️now I can try some Tribal braids on myself
Thank you for a great tutorial! Having two different hair colors, great angle, and explanation as you did every step made it easier to see what you were doing.
Omg u are the BOMB! Even 3 years later helped my out. Now I finally know WHERE to add the hair! I swear ur the only one who CLEARLY showed this! Thank u so much!
Thank you...for the first time in four years of trying i was able to add in hair on the first try... Thank you for understanding the need for visual learners like myself... I am 67 years old and it is young people who have been able to teach me all i know about braids and you just taught me to add in hair...again thanks
I have to say hands down this is the best tutorial for feed in braids I have ever seen. Your video was short, clear and precise and to the point. New subscriber, and notification squad. 💯 💯 Edit: your explanation and your visuals are on fleek. 👌🏽 👌🏽 👌🏽
Omg. Your organization skills and everything spoke to my soul. You had everything set up, very detailed. And I'm a visual learner. High praise to you!! This video is everything I needed.
This is the most helpful How To on feed in braiding I’ve ever found, and I’ve been looking for *a while*. 😅 Thank you for creating such a clear video on your grip, plus how, when and why you’re deciding to add more hair. This vid hits all the points I’ve been trying to understand. Thank you!
It really helped to see when to add hair in the beginning, when not to add hair in the middle, then adding hair again at the end when you felt the stands were thin. Two 👍🏾👍🏾
I’ve been watching tutorial after tutorial trying my best to see the proper placement of adding the hair & this has pretty much been the best & most understandable tutorial. Thank you ❤️
Out of all the videos I’ve watched for years this is the first one that ACTUALLY helped and showed me and up close visual on how to do a feed in braid. Thank you, you saved me from going to pay for a class. 😭
This is the best feed-in braiding tutorial I have seen thus far. Y took your time and showed a step by step method and explained what you were doing the whole time. Thanks.
You are the only one that teaches everything. For the longest I didn't understand why other videos didnt show you how to separate the hair before you start. Thank you for that!
This is so amazing. I've been braiding my family members since grade school and never tried adding hair. Now my cousins with the curly hair want hair added and I have been avoiding it. I'm trying this out today! Gracias =-)
I am a very visual learner. This was the best tutorial I have ever watched even it comes to how to feed the hair in. Most tutorials I watch there’s just music in the background and they move so fast it don’t seem like they’re really showing you anything. Very happy I came across this video. Thank you
OMG! I had the aha moment. I'm a visual learner. All these videos and you are the 1st person that hasshown the inside of how the hair is added. Thank you I get it now.
Ok, this was a revelation, THANK YOU! I’ve been working at doing feed-in braids with my kids’ hair for almost a year; results were ok, but not as smooth as I had hoped for. Your tutorial was crystal clear and I’m amazed that whatever I was doing didn’t somehow slide out of my girls’ hair 😅. I will be FEARLESSLY re-attempting a set of double braids tomorrow 🫶🏻
I absolutely loved this tutorial!! I’ve been trying to figure out where the other side of the hair goes when they add it and seeing the contrast with the blonde hair helped tons and now this looks easier than box braids to me (which I haven’t quite mastered either) but I’m definitely ready to try this now.
My "aha" moment lol was being able to use a blow dryer to seal the ends. I just recently for the first time installed box braids in my daughter's hair and had to rubber band the ends. For some reason idk y the hot water didn't help. I used the vivica fox 100% kanekalon hair. Thanks again for the video Linwood and you and the fam stay blessed up
im planning to do knotless braids on myself but a lot of the other youtubers ive watched say that if you know how to do feed in braids then it should be easy. i do not, so watching this was really helpful and the use of the blonde hair really helped me to see what was going on which was usually my main problem when watching other tutorials. Thank you so much!
This is the video I’ve been looking for all my life 🙏🏼 you are a saint thank you so much! I’ve been adding the hair in a different way, knowing it’s just not quite right. I’m so excited to practice this way!! ❤
Finally the first video that breaks it down simply with a clear visual!! Thank you I have watched so many different videos and this by far looks the easiest!! I will be trying it on my daughter tonight!!
Amazing! I have watched countless videos on how to do feed ins and no matter how detailed or explained, I could never understand it. The way you zoomed in so we can actually see finger placement and technique without any obstruction was amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This was very helpful for knotless braiding. I soak the hair in vinegar before installing because it stops itching from the chemicals used in the factory where the hair was made. I soak all the packs, rinse, then leave to dry on the braiding rack overnight.
I don't usually comment but I've been doing hair for over 20 years and in order to keep up with my 12yr old and their generations styles I needed to learn this. I was tired of doing the same hairstyles on both of us and wanting that result but not knowing how to do it; this video just taught me how and it's very well explained so thanks for that.
I have been natural for five years now and I have been learning how to do my own hair. I found a video of you talking about braiding and did my own hair! Now I want to learn how to do the feed in and you were the person I thought about. Thank you for teaching me again!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 This video is super helpful going to watch this a million times!!!!!! Cuz I never seem to know when to put the hair in and how exactly to put the hair in THANKS FOR THIS ON!!!!!!!
I have watched soooo many videos on how to feed in braid and this is honestly the only one that has helped me, it's really helpful that you used a different color hair so we can actually see it being added. Thank you so much
My absolute pleasure! I noticed that a lot of people on other videos where I was adding hair asked if I could use contrasting colors, just to help them identify what was going on, so I decided to start incorporating tutorials for more visual learners on my channel. Thanks so much for the feedback, I’m so happy that you found the video to be helpful!
So easy to follow. Thank you so much. I’ve been braiding for 27 years and have yet to master feed ins. I’m starting to change my methods. Thank you for the tutorial
Very good tutorial. I have been braiding corn rows in Caucasian straight hair for 30 years (one or two full heads a year) I have been asked to add extensions in a month or so. You really nailed it, making it easy to follow. Thank you
I’ve been struggling to learn this technique but you made it look sooo easy 🥰 I will practice practice practice 😅 thx for sharing 🥰 “Aha” that’s how you feed in the hair to each strand 😜 that’s my struggle 🤦🏽♀️
My boyfriend and I have been pretty broke and your videos are how I learned to braid his hair in the first place. Coming up for his birthday I wanted to do something special, and he's always wanted colorful hair but been afraid to bleach it so this is perfect! Thank you!

EXACTLY, everyone else just shows it with the same color braiding hair or simply to ADVERTISE and NOT TEACH despite it being a “tutorial”.
Thank you both so much for your feedback, I greatly appreciate your candor.
Oh wow, I finally get it! Thank you. I totally felt the light bulb go off! About to slay my own feed-ins!!! 😍

That’s awesome! Thanks for the feedback!!
You're the best! TY for an ACTUAL tutorial on this because other people dont truly show detail this way.
My pleasure dear! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!
You are the only one that teaches everything. For the longest I didn't understand why other videos didnt show you how to separate the hair before you start. Thank you for that!
What is more valued to me is the point where you start explaining how much hair to add😊. I really appreciate this video😊
Thank you so much I am 11 years old and finna do some tribal braids and wanted to see some easier ways to braid so thank you so muchhhhh
This is so amazing. I've been braiding my family members since grade school and never tried adding hair. Now my cousins with the curly hair want hair added and I have been avoiding it. I'm trying this out today! Gracias =-)
How did it work?:)
Thank you! I didn’t think abt splitting the first strand into 3 that’s helps a WHOLE lot
My pleasure! It definitely makes starting them off look more natural! Thanks for watching!
I am a very visual learner. This was the best tutorial I have ever watched even it comes to how to feed the hair in. As a visual learner I say THANK YOU! Now if only I can find someone for me to practice on!
You can find mannequins on Amazon for under $30 if you don’t end up getting a hold of someone. Thanks for watching! 💚💚
You are the first person that I've seen that I understand thanks a lot ❤
My pleasure! Thank you so much for watching!
I absolutely loved this tutorial!! I’ve been trying to figure out where the other side of the hair goes when they add it and seeing the contrast with the blonde hair helped tons and now this looks easier than box braids to me (which I haven’t quite mastered either) but I’m definitely ready to try this now.
I hope it works out well for you! Thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏽
My "aha" moment lol was being able to use a blow dryer to seal the ends. I just recently for the first time installed box braids in my daughter's hair and had to rubber band the ends. For some reason idk y the hot water didn't help. I used the vivica fox 100% kanekalon hair. Thanks again for the video Linwood and you and the fam stay blessed up
Calisia Kelley thanks so very much! God bless!
Calisia Kelley hot water didn’t work for us either .. how’d you use the blow dryer ?
im planning to do knotless braids on myself but a lot of the other youtubers ive watched say that if you know how to do feed in braids then it should be easy. i do not, so watching this was really helpful and the use of the blonde hair really helped me to see what was going on which was usually my main problem when watching other tutorials. Thank you so much!
You are SUCH a great teacher. I didn’t get it until I got it from you!!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching and your feedback!
I really liked the way you started,by making 3 partition of the blunt hair and to and in actual hair.
And I like your hair too.
Thank you so very much! I appreciate you watching!
💜💜💜this helped me greatly with how to start off the braids. Separating the first piece into three. And the way you hold the hair to add works for me!
I’m so happy to hear that the video was beneficial for you! Thanks so much for your feedback!!
This is the video I’ve been looking for all my life 🙏🏼 you are a saint thank you so much! I’ve been adding the hair in a different way, knowing it’s just not quite right. I’m so excited to practice this way!! ❤
my sister in law has always asked me to do feed in braids for her, now learning this from you has helped me so much!
Finally the first video that breaks it down simply with a clear visual!! Thank you I have watched so many different videos and this by far looks the easiest!! I will be trying it on my daughter tonight!!

Puglife my pleasure! Thanks so much for the love and support!
Nice! The small twist was my “aha” moment!!!
Amazing! I have watched countless videos on how to do feed ins and no matter how detailed or explained, I could never understand it. The way you zoomed in so we can actually see finger placement and technique without any obstruction was amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

OMG!!!!! Thank you for this. I love that you thought of us VISUAL LEARNERS bc I sure needed to learn this exactly the way you did it!!!🤗💕
You explained it so well and the close up real time footage is a massive help! Can't wait to try this! Xx
This is the best video I've seen on feeder braids! Thank you
Thanks so much! Thanks for watching!
Oh that mannequin 80's lipstick is poppin!

You made it seem so much easier to understand with the two different hair colors.
