Watched this video 3 months ago, and I was able to hit it for the first time today as a white belt. Sometimes, the stuff deep in your memory really does show in the moment!
Summary
-slide kneee between his leg and elbow
-secure the far side of his body
-hand to hand catches his shoulder, pressing with your forearm on the back of his hand and pulling upwards
-slide knee further
-catch the arm with your other leg
-fall backwards
Sounds easy. But I'm not going to just sit there and let you get your knee in there. Just like I'm going to also be defending my collar, I'm sure as hell fighting to keep you from passing my knee and elbow.
Beautiful. We really appreciate this channel.
Omg! I always tend to have my rolling partner end in turtle position many times! ! I just end up freezing n not knowing what to do next. Thank you!
that's a slick idea, kinda feel stalled out when an individual moves to turtle 🐢, I will try this out. thanks men
Ooo I love this one.
Gold, true master

I love this stuff!!! Thank you.
master!!!
Great details!
That’s real slick 👌🏻
👏👏👏👏👏
Caught my partner with it last night, awesomeness!
This is great, and I would never question Professor Gurgel. But all of this is dependent on getting that knee inside their turtle defense. That's sure as hell not easy. Your opponent knows exactly what you need and getting a hand in there is often times difficult, much less an entire knee.
I love the position, but the real "meat an potatoes" in the technique is actually being able to get your knee inside their defense. This demonstration starts assuming you've already won the battle of getting inside.
The knee into turtle is the same way marcelo garcia takes crucifix. Its very effective even at a high level.
