Such good deals. We stocked up at Aldi today. Will get pork chops for $1.99 a lb. at local store. Also, Aldi has solar lanterns we got a couple for saving money on electricity in the evenings. Hope they work ok. Landscaping lights work good for that too.
Way to take advantage of the deals at Aldi - and your local store too! Great idea on the solar lanterns too! 💡
Have you thought about grinding up chicken or pork shoulder/butt to make your own ground meat? I do it all the time. Chicken thighs make great ground chicken and pork butts ground up make great ground pork/sausage/meatloaf mix, etc. I’ll grind bacon with chicken breast and that makes awesome burgers when seasoned
I haven't but that's an interesting idea! How do you grind it up? 🤔
@@joyfullythriving I have an electric meat grinder. I know there are manual ones and kitchenaid attachments that will do it too. I’ve used my food processor but it’s not ideal
Thank you ❤
I damaged my kitchen aid stand mixer doing that last fall. Fortunately my husband was able to replace the worm gear himself but my sister burned her motor out doing the same thing.
@@kdonor oh wow that stinks. The electric one I have is about 85 bucks so maybe that’s the way to go. I can do 20 pounds without having any issues. I’ve never tried grinding more than that at once
Great deals.
Thank you! 😊
Interesting! No eggs on sale this week at our Kroger, but 80/20 ground beef is 2.99 lb on sale. Kroger cheese was the same here, 2.99. The Kroger pasta sauce on a great sale - digital deal for 1.29. The cosmic crisp apples at 99 cents a pound was a great deal also.
Oh wow! That is a MUCH better deal on the ground beef! 😲 And yay for Cosmic Crisp apples on sale! So yummy!
Best deal this week was HEB again. 3.46 a pound for 80/20 ground beef. 18 large eggs 2.46. And our united had 10 pounds potatoes were 2.99. Great video.
Great deals! Your prices beat mine! Interesting how your deals were on the same things too, even though our stores are different.
For a long time I was a loyal Kroger shopper I think it was because I never had to deal with customer service. Now I try to avoid Kroger, only shopping the sales and for items that I can't get elsewhere. Over the last year I have had several bad experiences with customer service. (rude employees, sales items not ringing up properly, and digital coupons not coming off) I have worked in customer service for over 30 years, I try to be very understanding but there is a limit!!
Oh, I am so sorry to hear that your experiences have not been good lately with Kroger. Hopefully your stores will improve their customer service - because the sales are so good!
We didn't have the egg deal in CO (King Soopers), but we did have chicken thighs/drumsticks for $1/lb and 3 lb Ground beef chubs were BOGO, working out to $2.50/lb!
Wow! Great deal on ground beef! Way to take advantage of the b1g1 deal! 👏
Love seeing you again 💝 great job on your grocery shopping trip again minus the row boat lolol have a blessed day 🌹
Thanks so much! And yes! So thankful we didn't umbrellas or boats this week! 🤣
Fantastic deals you got this week I love seeing your hauls ❤😊 God Bless You 😊
Thanks so much! It is so much fun sharing good deals with others who appreciate a good deal too! 🥰
Great deals! Eggs are over $2 here. They are definitely going up! Those desserts sounded delicious!
The cheesecake is definitely a new favorite of mine! I mean, peanut butter cheesecake on an oreo crust with monster cookies layered in between and on top? What's not to like?!?!? 😂
I find it interesting to browse through various items!
You and me both! 🥰
That's the best haul I've seen from anyone lately. You got some great deals. Ty for sharing Kristen.
Aww, thank you, Carol! And thank YOU for watching and sharing in the thrill of a good deal! 🥰
You got some really good deals. Im in California and I shop at Ralph’s (Kroger affiliate). For the most part we have the same sales as you. This week we did NOT have a sale on eggs. our are $4.49 dozen
Eek! That is so high for eggs! Glad you got most of the other deals though! 👍
Great savings and you’ll add to that with that half of hog! Hopefully the ground beef will have better prices in May. Your savy shopping will sure come in handy when your children are teenagers. I’ll have to try the poppyseed chicken someday. Hi Caleb! Have a wonderful week Kristen!
Oh, yes! That is my hope! I know the teenage years will be a whole new test to my shopping skills! 😜 And yes! I am excited about the half of a Hog too!
Great haul. I do this too at Kroger sales.
The best! So many good sales!
Hi Caleb!!! 👋 Great sales !!! God bless !
Thanks so much!!
Hi Kristen,
Thanks for another great video! I love seeing what deals you are able to get for your family in the USA compared to residing outside of it! We purchase similar items for our family with that being said the deals, items and prices are slightly different due to currency etc . Much love and God Bless from our family to yours from Australia xxx
Converting sales and prices with different currency is a challenge so I am honored that you watch, Belinda! I pray you and your family are doing well!
@@joyfullythriving ,
Thank you Kristen for your sweet reply! I pray your family is doing well also!
We are one the last weekend of the Autumn School Holiday 2 week break. Term 2 (approx 10 weeks before another two week winter school holiday break) for the Australian School Year starts back on Tuesday! Did a grocery shop this afternoon for the upcoming week ahead and stocked up on specials and keeping in mind what we have on hand in our fridge, freezer & pantry! Made a Meal Plan which is easy as we usually have the same meals each week with a special treat dinner on Saturday evenings. Mon- Pasta Night (think lasagna & salad, spaghetti bolognaise & garlic bread etc , Tues- Tacos/ Mexican Night (think Enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, taco chilli rice etc), Wed- Chicken Night (anything chicken based think casseroles, pot pies, sandwiches etc), Thurs- Leftover / Freezer Meal Night (I often portion leftovers into single serves so Hubby can take to work for a lunch etc), Fri- Fish Night (think crumbed fish & steamed veggies, fish tacos, fish burgers and (chips) fries etc), Sat- A Special Treat Night (think take out, homemade pizza, burgers, hot dogs, curries and rice etc), Sun- Roast Night (think roast pork, chicken, beef etc with roast veggie and or roasted meat on bread-rolls with provolone, grilled mushrooms & onions and bbq sauce etc). It is always lovely to watch Christian Content that is encouraging and uplifting! Much love and God Bless xxx
Dozen eggs here are 3.03I'm in Tulsa,Ok
Thanks for sharing your egg price! 🥚
Eggs are 1.49 here in central Ohio on the weekly deal.
Yay! Glad you got a good price too!
Our cheese deal in Louisville, KY, was 1.99 for 8oz. I would prefer yours! 😂
Hmmm. That is an interesting switch! 🤔
Awesome haul, you did well. I came in $3.48 under for my month as my month starts over 4th Wednesday of each month. Thanks for sharing how you manage your budget so well. Caleb is getting big!
Great job to you! Under is under, even if it is only pennies! So good for you in staying under budget this month! 👏👏👏
In mid-Michigan, eggs are $1.49 too but potatoes are $2.50!
Interesting! I am glad the eggs are low for you too, though! 🥚 And $2.50 is still a good price for potatoes. 🥔 It's just so interesting how prices vary around the country!
Nice shopping haul!
Thank you! 😊
Cheesy chicken sounds delicious. How do you make it? You got some great deals!
Thanks! Cheesy chicken is our take on a recipe called Million Dollar Chicken. You can find it on Pinterest or Google I am sure. It's basically mixture of cream cheese and mayo, with dried onions and a bit of shredded cheddar cheese mixed in. Then you shred it on flattened chicken breasts and top with more shredded cheese. Hence the name, cheesy chicken! 🧀 Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
That's a fantastic hall,it feels so great to snag all the deals.
My deals of the week : free gallon of milk
Red,yellow, orange and green bell peppers for .49 each
Cantaloupe .49 a pound
5 pounds russet potatoes.99
And the big one beef chuck roast for $2.99 a pound
Meijer is having 7/$7.00 sale starting on Sunday just an fyi
Wow! Fabulous deals! I haven't seen a price on Chuck roast that low since I don't know when! 😲 Fabulous bell pepper price too! And thanks for the Meijer sales head up. I will have to check it out!
You got so good deals eggs are 1.49 here in Texas
Yay! Glad the egg sale price seems to be holding steady across the country this week! Time for us all to take advantage of the sale! 🥚
Did you see the ibotta for el paso?
I did, and actually grabbed it! Fetch and Box Tops also had Old El Paso deals so that was nice to triple stack them! 👌
❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Terry! 🥰
❤❤
❤️💓❤️
Great haul❤
Thank you! 🤗
We're in southern Indiana and the eggs were $1.49 and the 5lb potatoes $1.77 😊
Ohhh! Even better! Enjoy that $0.22 savings! 🙌 So glad we had some good deals this week - especially on pantry staples that will last! 😁
Great job on your haul! But after Tyson laid off all those people just to hire illegal immigrants to replace them you couldn't pay me to buy from them!
Ugh. I hadn't heard about that one. Frustrating indeed.
