Thank's alot ill send this's to my friend's so they can know how to do propper english grammer in their's message's. My friends grammers are really bad right now
If I say "the mother of the babies" am I making a mistake? I feel it delivers the message, but didn`t find anyone talking about this way being either wrong or possible.
I have read a sentence like this in a book " Iam going over to the grocer's, to get a few things for dinner" Why we use the possession in the word grocer's?
Sometimes what the possessive noun 'owns' is understood without needing to mention it. For example: I'm going over to my friend's. In this case we would be referring to their house. You might have seen something like this.
@@EasyTeachingNet ex. in medical report : present chest xray study dated ---Dec. 23, 2022 compared to chest xray study dated -- July 15, 2022 , ( SHOWS or SHOW ? ) , marked radiographic clearing in the previously noted bilateral parenchymal infiltrates .###~~~ TY FOR YOUR CONCERN & REPLY !! If I understand correctly, you are talking about verb conjugation. In this case, we would use 'show' unless our subject is third person singular. I show..., You show..., We show..., He/She shows..., They show... Use the medical report as an example, we would use 'shows' (eg. The medical report shows a broken arm.' Hope this helps 🙂

It is a bit of an awkward phrase, but it is possible to say.

Hello, could you tell me where to place the apostrophe on teeth? All your examples end in n, woman, man, children.
Thank you, great video.
If irregular noun end with s such as leaves, which one true if I write this: the leaves' or the leaves's ?
Leave's
Leaves' of course. Leaves's are wrong.
