A reminder that breath of the wild didn't invent all those mechanics you mentioned, they just rolled it up in one game, also just because a game is a clone of another doesn't mean its bad, take valorant for example its a counter strike clone yet its really good, fortnite was a mod for minecraft hunger games, overwatch is a clone of tf2, a lot of games are clones to other games, the point of these games is to make something new out of it and popularize the genre and genshin impact is no different from those games mentioned

Yes I totally agree! In fact, some of my favorite games in any particular genre are usually not the first of it's kind. For instance, I played H1Z1 way back in the day, which was the first mainstream battle royale game as far as I'm aware (I know there were arma mods and stuff but this was a standalone game). Yet, the first year of PUBG was probably the most fun I've ever had in any BR game to date

The combat is based on elemental reactions. Every char has normal attack, charged attack, elemental skill (sometimes also two variations) and elemental burst. You mostly want to have different chars with different elements in a team to switch between them, apply different elements and produce various effects. But that's just surface-level, there's much more to learn about team comps, timings and rotations.

It's super free to play friendly as the game is really easy and gives you enough currency to get new characters regularly, also it has houndreds of hours of content and it is a single player game with co-op functionality.

Yeah I have been playing for a week and am already adventure rank 27. Been having so much fun exploring and stuff. Getting my percentage up on the map. Only up to act 2 of Liyue section of Archon Quests.

  • @BunnyHoper7

The combat can get pretty complex because different characters abilities apply an element at different strengths, and so interactions with abilities from other characters can be different. You have ways for elements to interact when using assigned characters, and you may have to use the abilities in a very particular order or you get somewhat different reactions.
There are of course, some party compositions that are pretty simple. A lot of the more complicated stuff came from the addition of the dendro element, that was introduced in the last region, Sumeru.

      @ameame32 ปีที่แล้ว

Gotta say studying dendro reactions and applying them is like studying in college XD

9:14 there is over 300 hours of content. It would take 3 months on the quicker side of things. And yes you can get by very well free to play. I have been playing 2 and a half years and i havent spent a thing. Reruns make it so i have basically all the characters i want. Buying the battlepass and a thing in game called "The blessing of the welkin moon" can accelerate your experience a decent bit.

Max0r's video is always ballin, btw this is only his second genshin video, the first one is quite out-dated, i don't play genshin but my siblings play genshin and by the looks of it it's just a character rpg with the gacha thing, and yes the map is really that big there's 4 nations currently and the game is still being developed until like 7 years from now lol

At first I was writing down all your questions so I can answer them all, but I would have been writing a fucking book.
Instead I am going to sum up the main aspects of the game.
Firstly: it's not an MMO. It is in fact a single player game, but your friends can join you.
You cannot join friends with a world level more than 1 higher than you, to prevent players from getting god tier loot with low level accounts.
So if your world level is 2, you can join someone with world level 0-3, but not 4+.
F2P is totally viable, just as long as you aren't trying to min max. If you play the game just to have fun, F2P is fine. You can get to the end of the game with most characters, there's just some really hard challenges on the side you will struggle with without a good team comp.
The combat in the game is actually very engaging. You have four things you can do. Main Attack and Charged Attack with your weapon, Elemental Skill which is like a basic power your character has, and your Elemental Burst which is an ultimate ability for each character.
Your have four characters, and each one of them can do these four things, and the Elemental abilities can have a large range of effects leading to a lot of combat style variety.
When Max0r said he "Mains" a character, he's talking about his team's DPS. You will typically have one character for DPS, and three characters for their Elemental abilities. Some may heal or grant shields and some will damage or apply effects to your enemies.
If you decide to play this game I do not recommend spending money unless it's for a character you've researched and know that you really want, and ONLY after you've played totally F2Pfor at the very least a month, or two months if you can't play a little bit daily.
The end game is pretty boring with not a lot to do, but there's a whole metric fuck ton of content before then, and the game is free (if you have self control).
The only thing you really need to spend rolls on seriously is characters. You can get by with most weapons, it's the characters that really matter. If you have a team you like, you don't need to spend money on rolls.
All in all I recommend it, but only if you're willing to invest the time to actually progress the game and level up. The game takes an insanely long time to progress, and there's a few level requirement walls that require a little grinding, but if you're willing to put up with that it's totally worth it.
If you have any other questions I'm happy to answer them.

Also the game is extremely casual, no real challenge. Some people honestly like that, they mostly play for the story. It’s honestly kinda like a comfort game. What I mean by that is the game is just chill, no stress at all. Co op is fun, you can fight world bosses together, do dungeons, and help your friends gather resources for leveling up their characters. You can only play with 4 people online in your party, but that’s fine

Why are some parts of the video skipped? Maybe its because you dont say anything but it makes the video feel weird and all over the place (more than max0r videos already are).
    Also genshin isnt an mmo

They’ve also have a TCG. Some people legitimately only play genshin for the card game, it’s crazy.

  • @paxxbees
    @paxxbees ปีที่แล้ว +2

genshin is primarily a first person game. each person has their own word that they progress along but there is a co-op mode where you can invite at most 3 friends into your world. so each time you saw him interact with other players was when he let ppl join his world.

    Damn. Lots of questions.
    - Take this with a grain of salt since i wouldn't watch anime reactions but i think both your choices (demon slayer and fma: brotherhood) would be good entry level anime, yeah. I personally prefer fma but i think it's a bit longer than demon slayer. like almost 70 episodes. so a bit long if you want to use it for reacting maybe. Also demon slayer is more recent so you'll probably get more views. Another idea would be jujutsu kaizen, the second season will release soon so still hype and it's also a great series similar to the other two (in a sense of it's about fighting mainly but a bit more mature). It's just not finished yet. If you want something without combat death note and steins;gate are both great classics.
    - As the others pointed out Genshin is not an mmo but a action rpg. Basically somewhat similar to breath of the wild i guess just that you have the option to play with up to 4 other people.
    - Yes, the world is pretty big.
    - free 2 play is absolutely viable. if you want to spend very lightly then 5$ a month for the welkins is the biggest value for money and i mean you pay a lot more for subscription based games. I personally play f2p and am 'in the endgame' (which doesn't really exist but it's still fun since you get new big expansions every 6 weeks and new events every week and of course you can always grind a bit).
    - How long it takes until you catch up obviously depends on how long you play (per session and how often per week). I have watched a lot of people play the game. The more casual players tend to take like a year, a year and a half or so to catcch up. the slightly less casual players (but not ultra sweaty gamers) take like maybe 6 months. So on average i would say you can expect somewhere between 6 and 18 months to 'catch up' (you'll still probably have some stuff left to do but basically you'll be done with the main story by then usually and took part in a few events or did some other quests)
    - The combat is really fun. Yeah, there are s and avoiding or rotations of how you queue your skills depending on your team. But yeah stats and grinding are also an important part. You basically will need both for the 'endgame' but all in all the game (playing the main storyline) doesn't require that much skill or stats, just a bit of both but pretty much anyone can 'beat' the game.
    - If you want to see actual endgame gameplay you can e.g. watch this video th-cam.com/video/vaOYaxF97mo/w-d-xo.html it might be a bit confusing since you don't know the game but it highlights mechanics and gameplay and only uses 4* characters which are meant to be easier to acquire / weaker than the 5* ones. This is a kind of dungeon that has different stages where your goal is to kill all enemies within a given time. it resets every 2 weeks i think and gets new enemies every patch and this youtuber does one such guide for every patch.

      1. Thank you for the feedback regarding the anime content I was planning on reacting to! I may do a little more thinking before actually diving into it after all if it seems like people aren't really interested.
      2. Ahh okay, that's really cool though honestly! I don't think there are enough fully functional cooperative games these days.
      3. yeah by the end of the video I got a pretty good idea of how large the world actually is LOL
      4. yeah I'd be more than happy to spend $5 per month on any game that I really love.
      5. Makes sense! I'm pretty grindy when it comes to games so I'd probably make it a point to catch up as quickly as possible LOL
      6. I'm glad to hear the combat is actually as enjoyable as it looks! I guess I was at least partially correct when comparing it to lost ark in how you described the importance of skills vs stats.
      7. Okay i'll be sure to check it out!
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions !! Appreciate you

If you really want to try the game i dont recommend these maxors videos not just because a lot of points he makes here are just for memes, inside jokes in the community and straight up lies.. but these videos if you are already a genshin player is really funny.

9:20 Based on experience of streamer called Necrit, if you jump in Genshin now, there is about 700 hours of content ready for you to experience if you want to catch up on everything. If you just want to unlock all world features and be ready to participate in future expansions, the main questline will take you about 40 hours which can be done in two to three weeks.
You can get by as free to play easily, nothing will be stopping you reaching anything the game offers, but naturally you will have fewer things in total than people who pay money. But that is not a problem since the game is by design easy. Even as free to play, if something feels too hard, it's probably because you're doing something wrong rather than because you did not spend money.
Genshin is a genuinely good game, worth trying out in my opinion, but you need to watch your wallet. The game will never require you to pay for anything, but it may easily make you want to pay for things. And while I believe it is fair to pay for receiving a good service, it's important to keep the price you pay under control.
There are features that will let you pay $5, $15, or $25 per month which will not actually even let you pay more for them. The $5 one (Welkin moon) gives you about 50% more resources than what you get for free, $15 (+ Battlepass) gives about perhaps 10% more than that. $25 option (the more expensive Battlepass) gives very little on top of that and I think it is already not worth the money. Beyond that, you can spend unlimited amounts on gacha currency and that's where you're entering the danger zone. I strongly recommend playing without that for at least a few weeks and getting familiar with the gacha mechanics first. You get about $100 worth of gacha currency per month for free if you participate in what the game offers. It is very possible to make do with that without buying any more.

Genshin Impact is a Gacha, Open World RPG where you pull/ wish for characters and weapons.
A few characters are given to you straight away - The Traveller (Lumine or Aether) which you can name anything you want like Wanderer (wishable character), Amber, Kaeya and Lisa. Wishable characters are up to chance but with you gain more pity the more you don't get a character. They also come in two variants, 4 star and 5 star. 5 being better than 4 but they can still be really good characters. Weapons are basically the same except there is also 3 star weapons with the 4 and 5s.
The countries are Natlan, Fontaine, Liuye, Mondstadt, Inazuma, Sumeru and Snezhnaya. In the same order they have the elements, Pyro (fire), Hydro (water), Geo (rocks/ earth), Anemo (wind/ air), Electro (electricity), Dendro (plants) and Cryo (ice).
But, as max0r said, Mondstadt is the best teacher. If you want to learn the mechanics in the easiest way, play the game. But if it's the lore, watch 'A Summary in Sumeru' by The Stupendium. It's fast but there's built in captions, it was sponsored by Genshin Impact and it also explains some of the basics.
Hope this helps, I wanted to type a lot more but didn't want to write an essay :D!

Genshin is absolutely not an MMO, as much as some people try to treat it like one. There is limited co-op but nothing too serious, basically you can farm or explore the world with friends if you want. I think the game's strengths are as a single player exploration game with great lore, even if the plot isn't great at the start of the game. Oh, and the waifu simulator part.

Fontaine is my favorite area (I do not play but I watch reactions and Gacha Reacts) and I can't wait for him to make a video with it.

  • @spieds9994
    @spieds9994 ปีที่แล้ว

01:10 So, as you guessed, Genshin does take inspirations from Breath of the Wild, but doesn't just completely copy it. And that's mostly at launch, after that they delved more into their elemental system which made the game stick out more. akashoT actually made an interesting video "Exploring miHoYo, The Past and Present" where they talk about all of Mihoyo (Hoyoverse) and they managed to dig up the old post from mihoyo where they talk about different inspirations for the game, which you can see in genshin. Also, as some other comments mentioned, Necrit's video could also be a good introduction to genshin from a new player perspective.
01:24 Genshin is more of a singleplayer game with co-op mode for combat, farming and exploration (and some events and card game). Unfortunately you can't do story in co-op.
03:35 Genshin is a mobile, pc and PS game, with possible Switch port (which they talked about at launch and it never was brought up again and just "in the work", so.....)
05:05 The vocal song here is from a fan video Epoch WInter: Tales of the Fatui, which was made for Hoyofair (officially hosted fan works streams). But a lot of music from max0r's video is from genshin. When it comes to music, both the game and fan covers/originals works are superb.
06:20 Genshin is a gacha game, so most of your characters would come from wishing (basically lottery). You also get some characters for competing tutorial and some challenges (1 for most elements, and mc can change elements). While it sounds bad, at the beginning you get a lot of currency for wishing from exploring, quests, events etc. At end game, you get it mostly from events and daily quests + new areas (lately they've been coming out with 1 new area about every or every second patch (patches come out every 6 weeks)). Most if not all of the stuff in game could be done as f2p (speaking form experience), and it costs more of your time then actual money. People spend money mostly to get characters that they want but haven't saved up on, or if there are couple at the same time.
As for gameplay, from your pool of character, you make up team of 4 (or less if you want to for some reason), and dynamically switch between them in combat, making different reactions based on those characters elements and skills.
07:15 Funny thing is, there's is weapon banner to roll for weapons, but most people don't do it bc it's mostly a scam, unless all of the weapons on the banner are great. You usually get 4* weapons from event character banners or from standard banner (there are also 5* weapons on the standard banner too) anyway, and there are also craftable weapons, so most of the time, unless you're already spending money on the game in other ways, or you're end game player who doesn't need/want any new characters, you won't be pulling for weapons. Also, stats for weapons are always the same, but there are a lot of different weapons, and yes, a lot of characters have Best in Slot 5* weapons that are usually available to pull when that character reruns, but there are usually other options that only a bit weaker/worse but easier to get or even craftable.
07:33 As of now, we have 4 different nations (which are in Max0r's video). New nations come out every year (the game had a 10 year plan at launch with a video showing some characters from nations in order they will come out). Through out a year small additional area come out for nations that are added (We got Sumeru Forest in August, then a desert area later, then addition to that desert area, and another desert/swampy area in a few weeks) with a few patches without new areas.
09:10 So while i can't tell for sure myself, Necrit spend around 500-800 hours to catch up with areas and main story up to date on stream. Idk how much he spend off stream. And he still has a lot of character story quests to do. And, as stated before, you don't have to spend a dime to play. It's just you might have to spend more time to do everything to get more currency to get characters, but the farming for artifacts is always the same for anybody. Mostly, paying might help in endgame challenge, but if you spend enough time as f2p building and leveling up your characters, you would complete it too. The main quests and events are easy, and don't require hard investment, just a bit of building characters. You can also lower the world level to make it easier later on, but that would also make drops smaller.
11:03 Yeah, there are I-frames for dodges and ultimates.
11:45 The game is very easy, but, personal opinion, they were adding more interesting enemies lately that actually might require skill, even if there are a few of them. If you don't overlevel your characters, some of the boss battles might be also hard, but those mostly differ from person to person. Some might die a few times before beating, others might 1 try it. Considering there are also food and healer characters, both of which heal, you usually don't have much problems completing stuff. But even with this easiness, if you don't even try to dodge or think, you would just die, imo.
13:40 max lvl is 90. But you also have 3 talents to level up (basic attack, E skill, Q ultimate), they go up to lvl 10 and are much harder to level then just character level (in a sense of grind). Weapons and artifacts also have levels btw.
15:54 in total, you have your basic attack and charged attack (LKM click and hold), E skill, Q burst/ultimate, 2 combat passives and 1 exploration passive. But bc of elemental reactions, the theorycrafting goes deep. There are 7 elements and 5 weapon types, each with their own gimmicks. Without going in too much details, you here are the reactions: crystalize, swirl, vaporize, melt, overload, burning, electro-charged, frozen, shatter, super-conduct, bloom, hyperbloom burgeon. Some reaction have differences based on which element applied first and second, and last 2 are a mix of 3 elements (bloom + 1 other element)
19:17 Enemies could be categorized in usual enemies, elite enemies, overworld bosses and weekly bosses. Usual enemies are easy to deal with, but have variety depending on the region. Elite enemies could be actually hard depending on where you are in the game, and mostly have their own mechanics (invis, shields, elemental attacks, much more aggressive etc.). Overworld bosses usually don't pose to much problems, but have their own uniqueness, and weekly bosses unlock through story and usually the hardest outside of abyss (battletower-like endgame i guess) with their own mechanics and attacks and gimmicks.
23:40 the main story is linear, world quests could be done whenever, though some are locked before you complete main story, character stories unlock along the main story, but you can do them whenever after that.
27:12 most regions still have character stories, world quests and event quests that take place in them, so you will come back from time to time, but most of the time you will be in new areas, since they do come out relatively often. There are bonus areas which usually don't have much after you're done with them, but there are like 2 of them right now it think, and 1 of them still could be useful to farm ores.
35:50 Temporary events, they usually last about 2 weeks and come back from time to time. As for permanent minigames, we have a fishing minigame, housing system and card game. As for fun, it depends on the person and mingame. Some love the permanent ones, others don't touch them. Event minigames are usually fun bc they are there for a limited time (the rhythm mingame also had a beatmap creator and specific site to share your maps with other people, so that was fun too)
Personally, if after watching some other videos you still unsure on the game, just try it for a bit, get to liyue, you would see the basics of the game, after that it gets better in those basics, but doesn't drastically changes them, so if you don't like them at that point, you probably won't like later stuff much better. Just think of it more of exploration story game and not combat oriented hard game and you will have more fun imo

There is one thing about Hoyoverse and their games. They dont focus on PvP and Raids. They focus on story and world building. Multiplayer is just a nice thing to have to hang out with friends or to gather extra materials for your characters. Overall its mostly Singleplayer experience. And you dont need to spend money on the game to get 5* characters/weapons. With every Update they add, you can get around 5000-8000 primogems (events, dailys, new maps) which are roughly around 30-50 pulls. Pulling for characters should be done with care. Always spend on a character banner were you feel like you really want this character.

Dunno if someone already sent a comment abot this but...
Genshin is an open world action rpg, and not a MMO, so most of the content is single player, with some of the content having the posibility for coop (there is no pvp). As for how much content there are easily 200+ hours of content if u skip dialog... and adding every 6 weeks

Oof my guy, as much as i want to answer every question i can't since i don't play this but i heard some things and remember a few from the first and only previous max0r video on genshin.
    >you can choose to pay but you can enjoy the game free, sure there are some characters that are op but it's all about chances and any character will do
    >by looks of it, yeah, you have about 2 o 3 skills but the thing is to swap between the others to combine damage based on the type of damage, like making an enemy wet will enhance the next lightning damage
    >i don't know if the plot is linear but there's a lot of exploration and dailies to do on previous zones, can't say if there's a lot of dailies but i heard it's something you gotta do if you're really trying to improve your game
Btw the voice of the girl on the last Evangelion reference was from Pipkin Pippa, i think i mentioned her on a comment from your last video, you should check her out :D
Oh and since you're trying anime i would suggest comedy or action since it's what draws more emotions, konosuba, chainsaw man, one punch man (first season), bocchi the rock, cautious hero, mob psycho, spy x family, overlord, rising of the shield hero (first season), danshi koukousei no nichijou (it's pretty old but the school comedy checks out), youjo senki, jujutsu kaisen, i could probably think more of them but i feel like it's a good start lol

Genshin’s extremely casual, so you don’t NEED to spend money, because most of the best content you get is achievable if you plan ahead and/or spend in-game resources as optimally as possible. For the most part, you spend money to get characters and weapons, both of which can be achieved f2p regardless. The rest of it is free, but cost time and energy to get, which means grinding…there’s a gameplay loop for a reason lmao.
To answer the combat questions: All characters receive three main attack methods; normal attacks (with charged and plunge attacks part of it), elemental skill, and elemental damage. Playstyle refers to how you the player use the character in tandem with their skills. Take Nahida (the white haired girl child) for example, her “playstyle” is applying elements to enemies so other elements can react to it, and her two “buttons” correlate to that in different ways. Her skill allows you to mark enemies so that if you attack one enemy, all other enemies get attacked in a chain too. Her burst does something else but it’s a little tricky to explain as a comment + I don’t have Nahida lmfao. But yeah characters have a “niche” style you have to strategize into using optimally.

to me the mini games are always fun bc they’re a limited time thing so you’re not constantly playing them. there are events in genshin that are usually festivals that are held in a certain nation, and during these events you will be able to play mini games. the festival events happen once a year and genshin players love them.

The game F2P is all boils down to your time....Just wish within your means....Been Playing F2P for more than 2 yrs. More than 5k Chest Plus in the game the game is more like Single player RPG with Co-op option.. Good luck reaching to the current patch...The game keep getting patch update every 6 weeks.... Every year the game introduce Major expansion and between 3.0. - 4.0 gives minor world expansion and story
Combat revolve mixing elements and each character play own role in team....Example Fire and Wind equal Wild Fire.....Ice and Water Equal Perma freeze add Wind Element skill make Snow storm.....Pretty much all unlockable characters and weapon lock under gacha the game will starter character enought to carry throughout the game. it all boils down self control and patience....The rest you figure out playing

while fighting, each character can constantly hit opponents with whatever weapon or magic they use. then there’s the basic ability which had a cooldown that can range from 3-12 seconds depending on the character. then you have the super ability which is the one that does the most damage, it has a longer cooldown and can take a bit to use it again. basic abilities usually do the least damage. and you switch characters to use their abilities to mix elements and cause more damage. how I do that is I’ll usually use my water or fire character to attack first and then use my electro character after bc electro mixed with water or fire deals a lot of damage.

I’ve been playing genshin without spending any money for ab 6 weeks now and I’m fully caught up in the main story! the main story moves along pretty quickly if you only focus on that and ignore side quests or character quests. you do have to do a few side or character quests before you can progress the main story sometimes but it’s pretty simple. now that I’m caught up, I’m going through side quests and character quests that I’ve ignored so far,,,

This game is as good as it looks, story wise it is great, i love the lore. Gacha is optional, it makes it eaaier to build broken teams or get characters you like. Each character has different roles which can be mixed and matched towards different elemental reactions. Some team comps are cracked.
The story is linear but you are free to explore most of it.

  • @soleilpeik
    @soleilpeik ปีที่แล้ว +1

Gacha isn't actually required to progress in this game, they give you more than a full teams worth of free characters and the overworld difficulty ceiling isnt high. I only ever do the lucky draw/pull when i really like a characters design or personality or whatever.
Also there are i-frames in this game, sprint and dodge are basically the same function. But you do have shielder/healer characters that you can put on your team if you are uh lazy (they give you free ones dw no gacha required, although kokokock (gacha)obviously heals more than barb (free chara)but again, not enough to warrant a need to pull)
Anyway uhh playstyle can refer to like your character or uh teams. Different elements have different reactions, some people go mono element and brute force their way through the game while others rely on purely elemental reactions for damage. For example, teams based around the freeze reaction between water and ice so that your enemies cant move, or the water and grass reaction to create goofy ahhh exploding flowers
Characters do have different playstyles too. Yes they have only two elemental abilities + their AAs but they have additional like passive abilities and shit. Also abilities can range drastically. Some characters just deal big damage on a special ability. Some change weapons. Some fucking fly (i love 'bruce') some buff, some heal, Yadayada
You can also change a characters playstyle based on how you build them. Theres a free weapon in the game that basically makes the character its equipped on a healer, for instance.
The world is great, but i'd advise pacing oneself bc ive seen people speedrun the entire world, every fucking sidequest, the story in like idk a few months and then complain 'no content :(' realistically, this should not happen. It has been a while since i started the game and have not completed or explored even half the shit here.
Boss fights aren't that hard tbh, just uhh annoying. They are fucking beautiful though (scaramouche/raiden/azhdaha bosses are some of my favs visually)

  • @Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp
    @Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp ปีที่แล้ว +1

It's on pc, ps and mobiles. Not an mmo though, just single player with co-op feature
It will take a few months, like 3 or 4, to catch up with the current story. I don't recommend speedruning it though, it's more fun to enjoy the journey slowly.
The game is very casual. Like really. Sometimes too casual, especially later when you've already built a bunch of characters and figured out how to use them efficiently. And yeah, there are i-frames, so with enough skill and dedication you can beat a boss with lvl 1 character lmao. Unless it's a timed challenge, then you'll need some dps, but nothing is locked behind a paywall, you can clear everything f2p.
There's a 5$ a month subscription that gives you some extra gacha currency per day, but it's mostly unnecessary. I buy it to support the devs and because I'm a determined husbando-collector, and this subscription allows me to plan ahead more efficiently. As i said, it's absolutely unnecessary, but if someone does want to donate, it's the best option. You'll need to log in every day tho.

There is a boss where you have to do puzzles just to hit it while your HP goes down by the second had to being food and potion on that boss
Also you have to return to those areas to grind stuff and enemies level goes up as your level goes up
Edit: It took me 3 hours to walk from Monstadt to Sumeru if I just walk through questline roads
But seriously you are actually the best reactor to this so far

  • @paxxbees
    @paxxbees ปีที่แล้ว

there are different reasons why you need to go back to older nations. one of the reasons is boss fights, each nation has different bosses that give you different things when you beat them. each character needs certain materials to ascend them to higher levels and the things might be stuff dropped by bosses that you can only fight in mondstat. each character also usually needs certain things like a specific fruit or flower to ascend and it’s usually a plant that you can only find in the nation they’re from. like I have a character that’s from mondstat and one of her ascension materials is some berries you can only find in mondstat. another reason to go back to the other nations is domains. domains are big rooms that you enter to fight a bunch of mobs while being timed. each domain has a purpose, there are domains for weapon upgrade materials, domains for character upgrade materials, etc. and domains are scattered all over the map. but you may need materials you can only get from a domain in a certain nation.

Trust, you can play the game completely free to play. Ive gotten several 5 star characters i really wanted without spending any money. Most people who spend money on the gane are trying to get every new character that comes out, multiple copies of their favorite character, and signature weapons. But theres good completely free characters (like xiangling and dendro traveler) and the in game rewards are enough to get you a few 5 star characters you really like. Its not worth spending money on weapons imo. There are enough decent free to play weapons. I spent money on one signature weapon once (on my birthday) and it was just bc i wanted my favorite character to look cool.

If you still want entry anime, I recommend Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Tsuzumiya or K-On which is pretty much all shoujo content, meaning it's primarily female oriented. I would also recommend waiting on Genshin to see if they make it possible to play old events by means of streaming the events due to important story and lore content and if you do, play on a Playstation so you get the exclusive sword and glider. Don't worry about getting a PS5, you can just use a PS4. Finally, the game is mainly single player with optional multiplayer up to four at a time in co-op or competitive in some event content or so I think, I keep multiplayer turned off at all times.

Old ass vid, I know, but you asked how much you'd have to invest to get an accelerated experience. Primogems are the premium currency, and each day, you'll also get 60 primogems for doing your daily quests. An individual single wish costs 160 primos, so you won't be getting there particularly fast, although that doesn't include the fact that there's likely thousands of primos available for new players through world quests, opening chests, etc. + events always have easy primos. Either way, there's a $5 subscription that gives you 300 primos upon purchasing it, plus 90 each day you log in (Though you can miss days if you don't log in...). Being free to play is completely viable, it's just that it may take you longer to get characters you want, and you won't have as many crazy weapons. But if it's any condolences, once you HAVE the character or weapon, the rest is completely free. Unless you're worried about constellations on five stars- but whatever

combat is a little more complex than you think basically you have to have synergy between the 4 characters on your team so you need:
4 characters that work well together
equipment for these characters with the correct status because basically each character has a status preference for example a character may want ATK to deal more damage but another prefers DEF that with his own kit he can transform this DEF into more ATK
and weapons that have passives and stats that are beneficial to these characters
each character has an attack combo, a skill and an ult but they also have passives that make you play with them in a different way than normal for example YaoYao in the video can heal but if you use her ult and then run and jump she gets a healing and damage bonus until her ult duration expires

New Genshin player (thanks, Maxor) and there's a few things i thought i could contribute about the gacha system as a Free to Play account (for now). First, the game floods you with free Primogems (gachabucks) and fates (you buy them with primogems and use them for pulls) in the early game. I managed to trigger the 90-pull pity system and get a 5-star in a little over a week without spending any money. Second, you can still easily play through the game with the free stuff you get. One of the most broken characters in the game is unlocked through gameplay. Lastly, for about the same money as an MMO subscribtion, you can get a Blessing (5$) for 2700 gems over a 30 days and a battle pass (10$) that gives you a lot of money, upgrade materials, and a few pieces of Pretty good gear. Everything else is overpriced and not worth it IMO.

yo try it man im gonna sub you , this's maxor 2nd video about genshin, u need watch his 1st video too . this game so beautifull man , im day 1 player and still playing it until now, this game exploration is HUGEEEE , even until now it still half way progress . this game mainly in exploration and solo but you can invite your friend or random people to help you in co-op to do domain, boss fight, solving puzzle etc. this game had so many characters, and you can create more than 1 party consist of 4 character, each character has their unique skill set and elements, u can mix match them as you like. there's 5 weapon type sword. huge sword, polearm/spear, bow, and catalyst/book. i love character that using polearm or huge sword and i love tanking playstyle. so i like character that can create shield and i dont have worry to evade while i smack the enemies. you can create so many combo and playstyle in this game . and you can do it with 100% free , but there's gacha element in this game, free player can do it also but free player need to be patient to save the primogems (item that u need to do the gacha for character and weapon) . u can collect this primogems as free player by doing quest/exploration/time limited event/redeem code etc. no need to explain , just try it bro :)

Genshin definitely outgrew Breath of the wild. Breath of the wild was good because it was a new direction for the series. But Tears of the kingdom is extremely underwhelming. It’s just more of the same stuff, nothing different. It’s like PlayStation’s spider man : miles morales, a half assed cash grab. Genshin took BOTW and made it better with a actual story and interesting characters.

However eventually once you do understand the combat it becomes too easy unless you play Spiral Abyss.
