- it's just so rare to be able to find a personality like yibo's 😆💚 and i mean that in a very good way. i hope he wouldn't let the industry change him because it's such a breath of fresh air!
i feel bad for some of his interviewers, but then mostly, i think they deserve it lol (some of those questions though, am i right?)

He is so funny and the reason why it is so funny is because I feel his sincerity, he is fearlessly and bluntly speaking his mind without a shred of maliciousness, pure honesty and because most people would not dare to speak their mind freely it is extremely surprising if someone is that straight forward, especially in show-business. He's so funny!! It's very refreshing because it feels like he's just being himself instead of trying too hard. I love Xiao Zhan, but he is also way more diplomatic and it's fun to see his amazement at some of Yibo's answers, like he wishes he was that brave!
I totally agree, I feel Xiao Zhan probably admires YiBo for speaking his mind so freely, unscripted. Xiao Zhan is the complete opposite in that regard, from what I can tell, he is highly conscious of all his words and actions when the camera is rolling and or he is out in public. While YiBo is just winging it. I feel YiBO admires Xiao Zhan's discipline, composure and politeness.
I wouldn't say that YiBO is "trying" he is simply doing and isn't afraid, he knows he will be ok no matter what the result is. It is what I like the most about him, his self awareness, confidence and believe.

Imagine if a female idol answered like this...she would get so many haters. I hope people will not have double standards anymore so that we can have female idols who have this kind of personality be able to comfortable do interviews too.
Especially the thin waist question. Cultural differences might be coming out, because I never heard a man in the western showbusiness being asked that question. (There was even the running gag when Scarlett Johansson was asked such questions, a male co-star would start answering it.)

@@yoruichisan19 Yibo was the male co-star in this case I guess. Xiao Zhan actual looked offended and speechless and Yibo answered for him in defence. Male or female, I don't see why anyone should be asked too much about their appearance rather than their work and their art.
Not just females, Yibo himself has got so much haters for being who he is like this already :))
i know a lot of reporters around the world ask really nonsense questions but i've noticed that thailand & china really take number 1! they ask some questions that i'm often like???? wtf was the artists supposed to answer??? so i looooove that yibo just literally calls them out all the freaking time. a legend indeed! very proud of him.

I'm pretty sure they ask the questions fans want to see answered. Maybe fans also like to have the odd celebrity being all cool and spiteful like WYB, but if they all did it, or if WYB did it all the time forever, at some point celebrities (including WYB) would get told off for arrogance. There's a balance. He takes the liberty of being a B-Boy, I suppose he also gets a pass because he doesn't affect it, it's sincerely what he's like, and it's refreshing to see his true personality. But him verging on rudeness is not exactly a good reason to take it out on the journalists
I'm 30 secs into the video and I'm already laughing to tears 😂 T What did the interviewer expect him to answer about the toilet? It depends on who the person going with me is? 🤣🤣 Oh my, that whole fan meeting was a debacle! The MC lost every possible opportunity to ask interesting questions about shooting the series, the characters, etc... Oh no, Yibo, we hadn't realized giving interview was the hardest part of your job until you mentioned it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I appreciate a lot that he's never a people-pleaser and always says what I bet 99% of his colleagues would but don't dare. But... I also think that the poor ones who have to interview him (in my mind I see interviewers on a sick leave, on strike, etc...) should have the most handsome salary 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks, Admin, for this treat 🤗💚💚💚💚💚

Many times interviews ask leading questions or questions leaning toward an answer that’s bordering on scandalous. Yibo notices these and always makes sure that they know he won’t be fooled or tricked into saying something people can run with, gossip over, or speculate about. His best way to do that is be his most honest. He responds but it’s not an answer per say. And it’s beautiful. Interviewers sometimes ask very intrusive questions and it’s disgusting that they think some of them are okay to ask. I love Yibo. He stands up for himself but also by saying he finds questions lame or boring and doesn’t answer, it always has the possibility of maybe getting certain questions from continuously being asked, and maybe that keeps another celebrity from being asked some of these types of questions. Yibo is always true to himself. His fans know that he’s never fake and doesn’t compromise his integrity just to satisfy some people’s whims. He’s a man, not a puppet. He makes sure everyone remembers that.

I applaud him for being candid. I am often annoyed with the media and their nonsense. Unfortunately they are trying to earn a living by prying into artist's lives.

My personality is like him, speaking through actions rather than words and seldom speak unless its someone i know well. Many people who are being ask about it will think carefully to answer it the way people wanted them to answer but Yibo's answers are from his whether it will give satisfaction to the people or not. The superficial questions would also make my hair stand on end. Everyone knows that Yibo doesn't like to talk about his private life, and that's a good thing from my point of view. No one is interested in how his life is going in private. Sometimes I think the Chinese press asks such questions to annoy Yibo. You should think carefully about your questions and not always ask them so superficially. But the tabloid press is unfortunately like that everywhere. The dirtier the story, the better.

The whole gossip press would like to wash in my opinion only dirty laundry, therefore the impertinent questions. If reasonable and factual questions are asked in an interview, then the interviewee also responds accordingly reasonable

love when we get honest answers and call out the media for stupid no none sense questions just to get a rating. He may come across as being an A** but he is just being truly honest and it so refreshing. From other interviews he seems to be a nice guy and anyone can get tired of all the BS.
