I went to "Matsunoura Bettei" in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, which opened on June 20, 2020.
This popular inn has a good reputation through word of mouth and is difficult to book on weekends.
Accommodation costs are not cheap, so it doesn't feel crowded, and I'm very satisfied that I was able to spend a leisurely time in a relaxed, adult-like accommodation.
I think that the common thing about luxury hotels is not only the cleanliness of the rooms and the food, but also the fact that you don't really feel the presence of other guests, but ``Matsunoura Bettei'' has only 10 rooms. There may be some, but I think that's one of the reasons why I was able to relax.
