It will work if you follow the steps. Place the reactants approximately 3 angstrom apart.

Okay it kind of works....but I get both direction on the same side of the graph...and in the .chk file there is a mess of bonds....

i feel you. I am working on ts -berny qst2 and qst3 of this reaction for 3,5 hours and with many errors so far. Fortunately i think it's over now
