Yeah I do too. Im pretty sure that the guitar sounds like that normally when seperated from the other instruments. I think it sounds more crunchy in this because the bass is more seperated from the bass in this mix.
coming back later on, I think the multitrack (that's available to do things like remix the song) is maybe a version without (as much) eq'ing done to the audio
My only issue with Bleach has always been the mix, it's too flat, but this is BANGER, the bass is there, the vox are accentuated, the drums are tight, killer job
Are you a Metallica fan? Man when I bought And Justice For All I seriously thought I had a messed up tape. NO BASS. ZERO. And the snare is so sharp and in your face. Sounded like a tin can compared to their three previous monster albums. Of course Cliff died and word is that Lars had it mixed that way...but no matter how you slice it it sounded like pure shit. I'm glad they remastered it and mixed it several times, even by fans. One was And Justice for Jason (Newstead, the bassist that replaced Cliff, just if you didn't know). The difference here? Budget. AJFA had millions. Bleach was recorded for $6000. I can't think why they would take the thump out of Krist's bass. On their other works Krist's bass is up front and in your face, very rich. Gotta be in a power trio. I'm thinking money. Or the lack of it...whoever mixed it just SUCKED. Metallica is crazier than hell cuz it's like deliberate sabotage lol
@@CrocodileKyle I think you're right on that one too bro. I know Endino said Kurt borrowed the cash, but I can't remember right off hand who from. Thanks for the insight brother! You're definitely a true fan n know yur shit! I appreciate it! 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
This has always been at my top of Nirvana songs. It's unique. The screams sound like they are coming from either a man lit on fire or the depths of hell itself. And you can feel the pain come right through the speakers
@@kaidenlemonaden pretty sure it's drop C bro...when I play it in drop D it is nowhere near as low as the recording. Edit: I checked the tablature and it says drop D too so maybe I'm wrong. It just sounds so much like the record in drop C and that's the only song I "thought" they recorded in that. My bad...looks like you're right...I changed my post. Thanks That's weird. A simple palm mute slide down to the 12th fret is that heavy...I've thought it was lower for over 20 years. Oh well...you learn every day
@@kaidenlemonaden I think you're right man. The tab said Drop D. It just sounded lower to my ear n especially when I played with the record but everywhere I look it says Drop D, not C, so must just be me 🤷🏻♂️ Cheers! 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
Mine too man. Like I said in my post wherever it is, there's no other Nirvana song like it...tuned down so low and the screams...damn! I know Kurt blew his voice out on this one
So that’s what the album looked like before it had that filter put over it. Cool!
yep haha it would be close, i wanna say someone inverted the picture then colored it in, i just enhanced it
I love how crunchy the guitar is in this remaster

@@PastorOfMuppets74 the album was for $600
@@CrocodileKyle you're right about that...I was shooting from memory n knew it was cheap af. Thanks for pointing that out bro.
@@PastorOfMuppets74 No problem. Also pretty sure Jason Everman was the one who paid for it so that's why they credited him on the back.

Sounds better then HD
great,thank you
muito bom
nice !
The vocals at the end are different , did you use an alternative version or something like that
at the end? nah, its just that the original fades out and i chose not to fade out the end and let it keep going
:) 🎉
Who is the other guitarist on the right?
that is Jason Everman
Jason Everman, he’s the one who payed for bleach to be published even though he didn’t play in a single nirvana song.
