this ride didn't fail me...the only bad point about this ride was that it didn't go on for long enough. When you hit the first portal jump is the best,you really feel good g-force with the the element of the VR in place...a really good visual and feel👍👍👍👍👍
It was really good but it depends if you get a good VR. I got a rubbish VR and it was terrible. It was just blurry but my mum got a fully working one and she loved it. She said this was her favourite ride. Personally I like the smiler but whatever
It fits in well with Forbidden Valley since the area is based on extraterrestrial landscape for example with the Nemesis monster and with Galactica being space themed

@@kilathewolf545 In documentaries, they explain that Galactica, the worlds first space travel company is an escape from the atrocities of the Nemesis, which arose from underground crevices as is sub-terra’s storyline. It fits in quite well and the logic is quite straight forward.
This music gives me feels - especially the part at the beginning where it's all quiet. My favourite ride is oblivion - I rode it 8 times with my friends on a school trip I also like nemesis because it's loopy, but enterprise is quite sick
Yep! I rode this ride! ITS SCARY!!! When you sit down you put on a VR headset (I had to take my glasses off). Then the seats lean forward and then your completely flat! And while you are forwards YOU REALLY GOTTA TRUST THAT CHEST HARNEST!!!!!!! And you go in loops and everything! The VR makes it seem like your flying through space! I THOUGHT IT WAS SCARIER THAN THE SMILER!!!!!
@@cjmoney253 Uhhhh you don't go through any phyical loops. Rather, an inline twist and a fly-to-lie. Also, don't worry about the chest harness. There are also small ankle harnesses which guarantee your safety. My girlfriend was stuck on this ride for half an hour in the flying position and she was fine, so there is nothing to worry about :)

Air was my childhood, it gives me goosebumps listening to the soundtrack and "Prepare for Air Now Fly", was epic and now its gone. Im sad.

I understand where you are coming from, and Air was the first big ride I rode at Alton Towers. But the area was starting to look tacky and the metal used on the signs and station looked cheap. Air will be greatly missed but it did need some work on it. "Prepare for air." Does have a place in my heart though.😢❤️
If we're not having another coaster for 3+ years I'm gonna be annoyed at AT and Merlin, hopefully they don't brand it as a "new coaster" when it's just been repainted and had VR installed.
+Inversion Team The flume is being removed and wont be operating in the 2016 season. Alton towers have said that whats come is going to be impressive....and if the person on facebook were to say....they would be fired. So something top secret is coming!
+Inversion Team We should see a new, large scale attraction within the next year or two. Whether that is a roller coaster, or something different, I do not know.

Well originally it was air without the vr. The vr on this is shit anyway, way too blurry and seem like it was covered in water.
DanDeMan they should keep it as air and if they want to add VR they could of made it like you were flying in the clouds

Air isn't being removed. Air is just having the experience enhanced by VR being added.
